The no longer available Swisher exclusive, Noodler's Gulf Stream Blue, named before the BP oil spill. Delivery system is a Pilot Custom 74 smokey grey (or whatever the translucent grey is called) with Binder .5mm cursive italic.

Wow, that's depressing.... the gulf stream blue can never be replicated because well, not only is Swisher not around, but BP screwed up the gulf.

Thank you for sharing.

And thank your for calling it a "delivery system" - the phrase cheered me up!

Fountain pens are my preferred COLOR DELIVERY SYSTEM (in part because crayons melt in Las Vegas).

Lamy Safari (2012 LE Green), F nib, inked with Iroshizuku Murasaki-shikibu. Finally trying out some of my samples now that Camp NaNoWriMo is complete! :D

I'm writing an online serial thing. It's urban fantasy. And I have no idea how long it's going to run for.

Today I am using my Pilot Vanishing Point matte black, fine point with Noodler's Heart of Darkness black ink

And .....

A Pilot V5 rollerball loaded with Noodler's Heart of Darkness black ink. What you say??? I am engaging in my newest hobby, filling the Pilot V5 with my favorite fountain pen ink. It is easy to do ... just pull out the nib/feeder from the front of the barrel, rinse out the barrel and dry with a Q-tip, and fill with ink of your choice using dropper or syringe, push the feeder/nib section back in. (There is a YouTube video on this subject if you like). Takes about 3 minutes and allows me to use a ballpoint, when needed, loaded with the same ink as my fountain pen.

Thanks for the tip about the V5. I like them, but I don't like how the ink isn't very water resistant.

Most of the time I use a Delta Isaac Newton Limited Edition; it has the nicest nib I have ever used, mildly soft and flexible. Having been a geographer before I retired I also use Parker Duofold Greenwich Limited Edition, but I like the Isaac Newton better. I carry a Delta 365 when I'm traveling, a gift from my daughter.

Well, normally, I have as my EVDC my FPN LE Passaporto. BUt I have just packaged that up as the cap broke and it is on it's way to Stipula for a repair. So my new EVDC is a Parker Vacumatic that I over-hauled and is a .37 1937 with three rings on the cap and they are two silver and 1 Gold. It has Silver Furniture and two Jewels that match the body of the Fountain Pen which is Green. All in All a Nice EVDC!
