Camlin SD -- with Noodlers Black Swan in Australian Roses-- The SD is rumored to be the predecessor to the AHAB --

There is a family resemblance. The pocket clips are almost identical except the SD has a satin finish while the

AHAB is polished. The SD nib is smaller but with about the same flex -- the SD has a slip on cap, the AHAB is

A screw cap -- SD uses a screw pump filler while the AHAB has a friction plunger. They are about the same size and have the same feel

I am pleased with both

A black Sailor 1911 - picked it up at a flea market in Copenhagen yesterday for 10 DKK. That's 1.69 USD.

Got four fountain pens (The Sailor 1911, a Penol, a Liberty 217 and one unknown - it's got "AA" on the clip) and a dip pen for 100 DKK - snatch! :D

Plus got an older Jumbo fountain pen for 50 DKK.

Lamy 2000 (EF). I wrote two law exams totalling 7 hours in the same day and did not feel any hand strain. The exam invigilators/fellow students didn't even notice I was using a fountain pen due the Lamy 2000's stealthy design. Best of all, the voluminous ink capacity meant I didn't need to change over to a ballpoint/rollerball.

Good luck in your examinations. May Themis Goddess of Justice give you a benevolent marker and your TORTurous efforts be rewarded. The Lamy is a very good pen for examinations, but always carry a second pen in case the principle in Murphy's Law is invoked.
