I have to face facts I change fountain pens with my mood and tasks.

I can sympathise with your affliction.

Platinum Plaisir with Asa=gao (to start, until it ran out) followed by Noodler's Flex-Piston with Kosumosu for my morning journal.

Noodler's Konrad with KTC for writing a bill.

Guanleming Calligraphy pen with Ancient Copper to make a few notes.

Haven't yet used this AM, but in case I need it I've got the Parker Urban with Salix.

Usually I don't use *quite* this many pens and colors before noon....

"It's very nice, but frankly, when I signed that list for a P-51, what I had in mind was a fountain pen."

Pens are like watches , once you start a collection, you can hardly go back. And pens like all fine luxury items do improve with time

Noodler's Ahab Medieval Lapis flex. I think this marks a juncture in my obsession because I carried this pen to work simply because it is perfectly coordinated with my shirt, tie and cufflinks. Worse, I believe I may have chosen this ensemble to coordinate with the pen, not vice versa. At least it's not just for show... I take enough notes at work that I really do need the enormous ink capacity of the Ahab. Noodler's Brown, btw.

Mostly because these two look nice together in my pocket, my green Pilot 78G and a green Faber Castell pencil.

Pilot Custom 823 and Pelikan M215 w/ Binder stub. Both filled with Waterman Florida Blue.

This is my pen. There are many like it, but this one is mine. My pen is my best friend. It is my life as a writer. I must master it as I must master my life. Without me, my pen is useless. Without my pen, I am useless.
