What Pens Are You Using Today?

Repeating what I said in the pencil thread. Tomorrow is an important day for Australia, ANZAC Day, commemorating lives lost and service by our Defence Forces. It will start early with a solemn Dawn Service , a couple of hours later a Memorial Service, then a march. An appropriate fountain pen , pencil and jotter for a uniform and medals. My Man 100 with a South Sea Blue Cartridge, matching jotter and pencil.

best wishes

Pilot 78G with a Pilot blue-black ink

I'm looking for something to write or draw with both. Some days I have to stretch to find a reason since my job centers on computer work.

When you have pen and ink, every problem needs a piece of paper.

Today I'm using my Waterman Edson with medium nib and R&K Salix ink, making preparation notes for a meeting tomorrow.

- Camlin SD (medium nib...flossed the nib and did some simple smoothing...great feel)

- Sheaffer Heritage/Legacy (medium. I like the extra weight compared to the PfM)

- Parker Sonnet as back-up

I was at Employment Law course today in Central London and I used a black Waterman Expert II Deluxe, which got several admiring looks from people on the course....but I was disappointed to see amongst all the lawyers and HR people that no one else was using a FP!

My prized custom wood Dip Pen fitted with a vintage flexible Esterbrook 048 Falcon nib (which allows for smooth up strokes as well as down)and a custom aluminum reservoir allowing me to draw endlessly between dips. Best of all worlds for me.

Love your handwriting! Or I guess, handwritings -- plural. Ink seems more of a constant. Anyway, thanks for posting.
