Today my new Parker Duofold Cloisonne number 3610 with Pelikan Royal Blue ink.

Got it as a birthday present, last week.

The Duofold is a lovely pen , I have had one of blue marbled Presidents which I got around 1989. Lovely nib.

best wishes

Today I am using the beautiful Visconti Opera Elements Blue (Water) fountain pen, with the smooth writing 14k medium nib. Great experience! I've loaded it with Noodler's Turquoise Eel, which is the first "lubricated" ink I've tried - it does write incredibly smoothly, although the drying time seems lengthy.

A black Sheaffer Fashion II I bought today. Found it in the familiar coffee mug in a thrift shop, missing its clip and looking a bit sad, generally. A high-miler that'd been sitting for too long, but at the price (€1,50), I thougt I might give it a go.

So, once back home, I hacked a clip for it and gave it a dry run to see if the nib & I were going to be friends. Even after having sat in that cup for what must've been a long time, it just started right up on whatever ink was left in the collector. I've been jotting shopping lists and whatnot with it all day, just to humor it (just how much ink will the collector hold, anyway? The pen simply refuses to stop writing). Silly thing's as smooth as you please, too!

Tomorrow I'll give it a good clean & fresh ink. It's deserved it B)

2 Watermans that I just purchased.

Little disappointing as they do not have the flex I was hoping for but nice pens!

And of course the Lamy that is always in my pocket (trouser) with an italic nib!

Pens are like watches , once you start a collection, you can hardly go back. And pens like all fine luxury items do improve with time

In my pocket a user grade P51 loaded with Omas blue ink. After a coupe of accidents with pens coming uncaped I prefer washable inks for pens that I carry in my pocket.
