My Waterman 3V with flexible nib. I love it. Filled with Waterman South Sea Blue. Dang, that ink is giving Syo-Ro a run for its money (except it feathers like a fan dancer on cheap paper). An engaging combination! :cloud9:

Used my Sheaffer Intensity filled with Noodler's Bad Black Moccasin to sign the back of ten savings bonds bought for me when I was a wee boy. I could've used them to support my pen addiction, but I did the right thing and put them towards the student loans. :( We've been putting nearly every paycheck to pay them off and they'll be gone in less than two months.

Then comes the time to buy pens…

Your prudence in resisting a "want" not a "need" is meritorious. You will find when your student loan is paid off, some other absolute "need" will come your way, so your subsequent purchases should be well thought out...like the Omas I bought straight out from my last set of letters . I was fortunate to be able to pay year by year which still allowed me the ability to scrimp and buy the odd pen.

best wishes

Pens are like watches , once you start a collection, you can hardly go back. And pens like all fine luxury items do improve with time

A Jinhao 750 and a Jinhao 500 I've acquired recently.

Typical Jinhao examples of cheap pens with nice nibs. I hope the rather pricier ceramic looking pen I'm waiting on writes as smoothly...
