Pilot Vanishing Point Stealth Black with Pilot Black ink. Only the silver-coloured fine nib provides contrast between black body and black ink.

Like many of you, I've been addressing Holiday Cards.

I'm using 3 pens;

1. Waterman Ringtop 52 1/2V, inked with J. Herbin Lierre Sauvage - for writing elegant inner notes on cards with good paper. (Well, as elegant as my handwriting allows) ;-)

2. Sakura Micron 03 in Black - for addressing envelopes. I tried the 52 1/2, but the paper caused too much bleed.

3. Acme "Shag" BP - for writing inner notes on paper that isn't FP friendly.

Happy Holidays to all!

WTB: Sailor Sapporo purple lame (F or smaller nib)

WTB: Omas 360 Rollerballs

Please PM me if you have one you'd like to sell. Thank you! :)

Today Visconti Van Gogh Starry Night and Omas celluloid Paragon Blue. Both with Pelikan 4001 Royal Blue. I bought the Visconti today, it is a nice pen with M steel nib, but I´m thinking to buy a gold nib soon to replace it. Besides that, the steel nib is smooth and with a nice feeling. The colour of the Van Gogh body and cap in dark blue with a yellow touch is really beautiful.

I did a new thing this year: wrote drafts of my Holiday cards first. Still have a few on the list and they will be receiving New Years cards... or perhaps Chinese New Years cards... or Easter? Happy Summer Solstice?

Fermo, Binder .5mm cursive italic, Rohrer & Klingner Salix:
