I've got my two trusy pens - Parker Vacumatic Junior, filled with Noodler's Bad Blue Heron, and my Pilot VP, filled with Heart of Darkness. Gotta start diversifying! I've been using nothing but Diamine Crimson and Iroshizuku Ku-Jaku for 3 weeks. Time to look at my other colors.

Current Rotation:

Pilot Vanishing Point Gun Metal Fine

Stipula Passaporto Medium

Visconti Homo Sapiens Steel Age Midi Medium

Today I'm using..

Acme FP (M) with MB Midnight Blue

Taccia Overture (F) with MB Midnight Blue

Lamy Al-Star (Blue/F) with BSB (This pen has given me the most hassle of any. Ever. When after everything, a pen won't write even with FL Blue, you know it's the pen's fault, but fortunately, my latest set of adjustments has it working ok with the BSB, and I need to have that color at my disposal...I'm hooked)

Libelle Chromatic (M) with MB Midnight Blue

...can you tell I recently acquired MB Midnight Blue and am trying it in as many pens as possible? :D

Noodler's Ahab filled with Bad Belted Kingfisher and Mont Blanc Starwalker filled with Bad Black Mocassin. I need to tweak the Ahab to increase the ink flow.

While my 149 is out of commission I am using a Platinum Preppy eyedropper (quite a difference, eh?) loaded with Noodler's Kung Te-cheng and I also use Pilot Varsity for some things.

Can't wait to use the 149 again.... :(

Wow. This post should be "what really awesome pens are you using today?" These are in the bag today:

TWSBI 540

Pilot Penmanship (swapped with italic nib ... for notes and edits)

Pelikan Pelikano (yellow)

Lamy 2000 RB

Been on a "new pen" run for a while. Maybe need to go back to the old Sheaffers and my coveted Mabie Todd BCHR.

The Pilot 78G (what a great little cheap and lovely pen....a REAL gem), The Lamy Al-Star (I'm with the guy above, this one can be a real mule to start up), my TWSBI ROC (love you TWSBI), and my Pelikano (lime green and a real beauty...writes all the time with no prodding).

brand new St. Dupont Large Orpheo (latest version) ... and, horror of horrors, I dropped it today from chest level when capping it. :bawl: Slipped out of my hands and both cap and pen went tumbling onto the tile floor. I found the cap under a cart. After a detailed inspection I can't find a single abrasion on the metal trim or lacquer body.

An old Conklin Crescent, black chased hard rubber, gold trim w no brassing, lanyard ring - Black Quink ..... Im really new to FPs, but if this pen is "sub-par" I am in for a real treat...'cause I love this old Conklin!

OK, now I've seen apologies for lousey pictures that Olin Mills would likely endorse , so here's mine...."Sorry for the horrible pictures, I will get better at it, much better or I'll just quit posting them!" Just thought a picture was worth a thousand (mumbled ..in this case) words.
