Today, I have been using a Waterman Phileas demonstrator, and a Sheaffer imperial II deluxe.

Just received a Pilot Prera in the mail and I couldn't be happier. I've been playing with it this evening and I think I may have found my perfect nib! It is the first nib I've used that has both a fine enough point and that also writes smoothly enough for me.

Today there has been one of variety for me

Esterbrook 2556 nib (which has been "ground" to an oblique right) with Diamine Blue Black

Pelikan Blue O Blue with OM nib (just got this new nib and do NOT like it) with Private Reserve spearmint

and the mail brought:

Black Sailor w/GF trim - 1911 International with a 21 K Music Nib :cloud9: which I filled with Noodler's Brown - a sample I hadn't gotten to use yet!

First experience with a Music Nib and so far I like it a good bit!

today? Hero (parker 51 knock-off) and diamine rustic brown ink. the pen's leaking quite badly now... im trying to eek out a bit longer from it. thinking about putting a hair band on the rubber bit to keep it a tighter seal....

Since the Noodlers Flex pen arrived last week, I've been using it so much that I've filled the ink tank 3 times. Difficult to leave it...

Pens are like watches , once you start a collection, you can hardly go back. And pens like all fine luxury items do improve with time

Even though I have green and red Aurora Optimas, and a blue stripe Pelikan 800 in my bag today, the only pen I have used all day is the Visconti Skeleton AG925, filled with Private Reserve D. C. Supershow Blue.
