I just received my Persimmon Swirl Edison Collier from Goulet Pens yesterday. I filled it with Private Reserve Violet ink. It's a beauty of a pen. I should mention, in certain light, it glows!

My Lamy Al-star extra fine nib filled with private reserve velvet black is my official 24/7 college FP. :D

It writes well but I'm not crazy about the barrel design so I won't be devastated if I lose it or meets an untimely death for whatever reason. -_-

I tend to use two pens when I'm out on the road - a Lamy Studio in brushed stainless, with a M nib, and a Lamy Vista with a B nib. The studio is filled with Waterman's blue-black, which is a fantastic quick-dry ink for us leftys, and the studio is filled with J. Herbin Vert Pre, which makes it fantastic for highlighting and underscoring.

The Vista is only there because I've lost the mate to the Studio - the ballpoint. I'm on the hunt to get it back.

Today, with another month of summer weather looming and before I bring out the Fall ensemble, some bright Montegrappas and cheerful inks are in order.

Today and the last two weeks I have been using a FPM III with a broad italic nib and a TWSBI 540 with a broad nib , both are loaded with Parker Quink Turquoise with solvex. Love this color of Parker. For those times when only a ballpoint will do I always carry one of my 1948 to 1955 Eversharp B/P that has the return click on the pocket clip. I modify a cross refill nib to work in the pen. i have about thirty of these B/ps in different colors,For a pencil I always carry one of my more than thirty Wearevers that ere manufactured in the 1930s. They are the ones that carry 12 long sticks of lead around the inside of the cap. The lead is visible on most of them thru the semi transparent cap. The pens change from time to time the pencil and ballpoint other than color change always remain the same and have for at least the last 8 years.
