Pens are like watches , once you start a collection, you can hardly go back. And pens like all fine luxury items do improve with time

Just got a Retro 51 Tornado Lava Flow yesterday-fantastic but uses ink like crazy

Lamy logo filled with Lamy Turquoise ink for everything other than journal writing, works great on nice paper, smooth with F nib

In one journal, a Waterman Charleston with a Waterman blue cartridge. In the other journal, black Pelikan M200 with Private Reserve Ebony Purple. I love the smell of the Ebony Purple (is that weird?).

Sheaffer Imperial III XF and Bexley 2010 stub.

Same Pelikan M605 I've been using for weeks and weeks. But I started a new Kunst & Papier A4 "sketchbook" that I use as a journal. The very first and very last pages have a laid texture. The rest are smooth...

Today is a Schrade 3rd Gen Tactical fountain pen with Levenger's Regal ink.

That looks a lot like Sütterlin. But I could be wrong.

I keep cjhanging pens, but today I have a pair of waterman's inked with Pelikan Turquoise, an Expert I Navy Blue with GT and two tone Steel M nib, and Expert II Black with GT and two tone steel M nib. Both smooth writers and my favourites (among many others) especially for balance and weight.

Enjoy your pens

Have a nice day

I'm marinating my snorkel's nib in hopes I can use it without needing repair.

In pocket are a Pelikan M150 with a hard-won XF nib (they're rare for some reason lately) and Noodler's Black.

For fun is a Pilot Prera In F with Shah's Rose.

With me the past two days was a 78G with a .9 italic from a Plumix swapped in and an _old_ lamy blue cartrige. Old enough 20-40% of the ink volume had evaporated.

I'm playing with my new arrival - a Pilot Custom 742 with Falcon nib. It is so ..... DIVINE! I am using a Pilot Blue cartridge, a color which has never wowed me before. But it's pretty nice in this pen. Now my Namiki Falcon with Soft Fine nib feels like a nail in comparison!

Scribbling notes to myself this dark evening with a trio of MB's.

1980s MB 149 with a fairly soft medium nib, using MB Blue-Black

Schiller WE with a custom stub, using Diamine Imperial Blue

Faulkner WE with a broad nib, using Diamine Ultra Green

Not the best picture, but kinda dark and atmospheric, nonetheless...
