I finally got my inks and inked up my Edison Nouveau Premiere Limited Edition. This pen has a medium nib and was inked with Daimine's Amazing Amethyst. It writes beautifully. I could not be more pleased with my first fountain pen.

The same as yesterday, my Sailor 1911, and good old reliable Lamy 2000. Tomorrow I have a "fighting" day so i will take something very special. A 1940's Onoto which was used by one of the column commanders in the first big Chindit raid in WW2. I will also take my Lamy 2000 and Parker Duofold all with Parker Quink Blue/Black.

Just received my Cross Verve - I guess it's Merlot although the description called it brown crocodile and it looks brown. Haven't inked it yet.

Till then am using my TWSBI Diamond 530 clear with EF nib and Kung Te-Cheng (Noodler's) ink.

Also a Kaweco Sport fine point with a cartridge.

It was a big day and successful. The 70 year old Onoto used by one of Maj Gen Orde Wingate's column commanders in the first big raid across the Chindwin River gave inspitation. It is archived again with the same gentleman's GP propelling pencil. By my side now is my Caran'd Ache 55 Ecridor with 14ct nib loaded with Blue/Black Quink, and my Omas Ogival with wareman South Seas Blue for signing correspondence. The Omas is a delightful instrument.

I used a Waterman C/F today filled with Waterman black ink. Tomorrow I will use my usual office pen: Lamy 2000 with a medium nib and the same ink.

Let's clean this pen before trying another ink...

Today is a working day well and truly, so I will be using my usual office pen, the redoubtable Lamy 2000 and my trusty old Parker Stg Sil Sonnet premier both loaded with Parker Blue/Black Quink. I had a look at the new Premier, I think it holds well but the cap clip is weak.

Today, I had to sign a couple of submissions , heavy stuff, so it was my old Mont Blanc "Noblesse", platinum plated silver with Parker Blue / Black ink. I have always liked Quink, probaly because my late dad used it. Tomorrow my Lamy 2000 and Parker Sonnet Premier.
