Using a Lamy Vista filled with Pelikan Turq. ink. Now that an italic 1.1 nib has been put on this pen the flow is much much better...

I am at work at the moment so I am using my Mont Blanc 147 Traveler. When I get home I will grade some papers with my Mont Blanc Scenium Fineliner, and then do some wrinting with my Boheme Doue.

After 32 straight days of using an ocean blue Lamy Al-Star I suddenly switched to a Pelikan M605 a few days ago. I like using one (or two) pens continuously for days and days. Anyway, this morning when I looked at my journal there was a postit in my handwriting which read, "All sorts of weird manias must sometimes be accommodated." Dunno what that's about.

Also using a brand new RED Kunst & Papier A4 "sketchbook" which I box in a medieval page layout scheme before scribbling.

Lately I've been quite attached to my little orange passaporto with J. Herbin Orange Indein ink. I drop it into the left front pocket of my jeans, grab my journal and walk to a lovely spot at the base of an old oak tree on the hill overlooking my valley. I am considering pulling an old grade school student's desk/chair out of the shed to put there. I like the incongruousness of a school desk standing alone in the woods.

Pens are like watches , once you start a collection, you can hardly go back. And pens like all fine luxury items do improve with time

Been using a few. The oversize Delta Oro with a EF, which I love and is at the moment my favorite, an old blue dupont (forget the name, it is a smaller one-- and one of the best writing pens I have ever had--, a delta dolce vita with a fine point--I like it but not one of my favorites, not fine enough for me and a little wet, and a Dunhill long blue (also forget the name) which i found in my collection a couple of weeks ago, with an EF nib and an 18K, which is also an excellent writer It's a long pen and the right girth for me, and I haven't seen them around, it must not be made anymore. .I'm waiting on a Churchill I sent back to have the nib tightened, but has been the smoothest pen I have ever written with, and looking forward to a CS Silver Duro that I ordered, along with an oversize Aurora 88. Also with an EF Nib. Been going a little pen crazy. Not good for the bank account, but I can't help myself. No self-paid travel this year, so... I like to switch around, but mostly the Delta Oro at the moment. I find these days I rarely buy a pen that doesn't have an 18K gold nib. I can tell the difference between a 14K and an 18K. That said, I just bought the 88 because of its reputation as an excellent writer.
