Today it' Montblanc 146 Platinum F with Montblanc Blue-black Ink.

A wet writer that keeps the lines true to its nib size. Consistent ink flow and great resulting lubrication!

"No one can be a great thinker who does not recognize that as a thinker it is his first duty to follow his intellect to whatever conclusions it may lead. Truth gains more even by the errors of one who, with due study, and preparation, thinks for himself, than by the true opinions of those who only hold them because they do not suffer themselves to think." -J.S. Mill, On Liberty

For making notes and general writing, Visconti Wall Street LE - broad nib, green - with MB British Racing Green. The broad nib really shows off the shading in BRG.

For editing, a burgundy lacque Cross Pinnacle inked with Diamine Vermillion.

Colour is its own reward - N. Finn

I have been going back to Conklin, because I love Conklin, and have another in the mail in orange coming. This time it is the Conklin Glider filled with Noodler's Beaver. Another pen is the Pelican 200 filled with Waterman violet, this Pelican writes so incredible and it is very old. I have too many pens out need to have only two out.

After trying various Hero pens and liking them, I finally decided to purchase a Parker 51 & my winning eBay bid came in today. Filled it with Pelikan Royal Blue and I LOVE IT!!!! I may have to stop using all my other pens for a while. So glad I finally got one!!

good old 1979 mb149 with its extra fine nib

Pens are like watches , once you start a collection, you can hardly go back. And pens like all fine luxury items do improve with time
