What a beautiful display of an italic hand for everyday writing. It reminds me of my teacher Willian Bostick, gone many years now. He was an art prof. at Wayne State in MI and vowed to always write in italic.

I would surely do the same, but alas being a lefty the difficulty quotient inhibits. Your pen colour and ink choice is a marriage that is very impressive. Turlough

Standard pen compliment at the office these days is:

Either a Sailor 1911 Full size F nib or a Pilot Custom Heritage 912 with a SF nib, both loaded with Sailor Kiwagura black for regular notes.

Pilot Custom Heritage 92 Demonstrator F nib loaded with Namiki Asa-Gao for notation on documents.

Waterman Expert II EF nib loaded with Noodler's Widowmaker red for really important notations. And fun.

He ground the nib himself, you can't buy it. The Platinum pigment blue is a type of ink that you can purchase.

Today I am using:

Lamy Vista EF - Diamine Imperial Purple

Lamy Logo EF - Waterman Florida Blue

Jinhao 33 M - Sheaffer Red

Pilot 78G F - Noodler's HoD

Duke 209 M - Diamine Imperial Blue

I flushed and dryed all my daily use pens and stocked with others in a box. I will concentrate in this Esterbrook j blue marbled with a 9128 nib and Waterman Florida blue. The nib can write with no pressure very easyly without any scratchiness, next days I am going to increase pressure to see

its flexibility.

I love it when folks include great pics of their pens and samples of their writing. I'm not set up to do that yet, but it's on my list of things to do.

Just searched for a good price on a Lamy Al Star EF. The ones at Ebay were more expensive than ordering from Goldspot. (no affiliation) I have to say I was influenced by HDoug's posting and pics. Yes, I ordered an Ocean Blue pen.

Today I am using my Lamy Safari (clear) F with a Lamy blue cartridge and a Preppy .5 M.
