I haven't got the fountain yet....but a Charcoal Safari should be here in 2 days. As for now I have a Tombow Object roller and a Sharbo X LT3 multipen with a pair of ballpoints in it. Thought it was time to step up to the fountains!

A Visconti Novelli Augusta carrying J Herbin bleu myosotis ink - wonderful. Great looking pen that always catches the eye. Lovely line variation with this worked nib and superb colour on the ink - probably my favourite. Loved writing with it at work today and looking forward to using it again next week. Also used my bright red Platinum President, carrying Waterman blue black ink. Great Medium nib that never fails me. Shame this pen is with a converter rather than piston-filled. That said, it did the job today.

Currently using all pens listed in my signature, but primarily using the aqua Sheaffer Snorkel Admiral filled with super-smooth Aurora Blue ink. The pen was restored by Danny Fudge and has become my daily writer and overall favorite pen.

The liberty of the press is indeed essential to the nature of a free state; but this consists in laying no previous restraints upon publications, and not in freedom from censure for criminal matter when published. Every freeman has an undoubted right to lay what sentiments he pleases before the public; to forbid this, is to destroy the freedom of the press; but if he publishes what is improper, mischievous or illegal, he must take the consequence of his own temerity. An odd couple - although I guess they're both large pens - the Omas 360 (magnum size) and the Jinhao Blessing.

I've been using one of my favorite pens, my Conway Stewart Westminster with an Italic Medium nib. It's my primary pen for journalling... great feel in my hand and great flow.

Today I use my new Visconti Homo Sapiens with grey P.W. Akkerman ink, my Visconti Europeanen constitution with Visconti blue ink and my Pelikanen M1000 green striped with Mont Blanc racing green ink.

Anyone any suggestions About good ink for the Homo Sapiens and the Europeanen constitution pen?
