I've just filled it with its first taste of bottled ink, so today has been almost exclusively my Parker Frontier (with blue Quink).

Oddly, I could swear blind that the ink from the bottle is a darker shade than the supposedly identical ink in the cartridge I took out!

Pelikan M215, as soon as I can figure out what ink to put in it.

If it's a non-black ink, then also the Aurora Optima, as soon as I can figure out which black to put in it.

Well there are several pens I use frequently for all different situations.

1) Ultra- an old cheap Italian pen with a fine nib. It really is a fantastic writing pen! Especially for the $10 I paid for it!!

2) Lamy Safari with a fine nib. A pen I take along when I really need it to work 100%.

3) Waterman Phileas- The pen that sits in my shirt pocket and looks fantastic there, and also writes and looks wonderful when I need to sign something.

4) Noodler's Creaper Flex Nib- A fun pen (my first flex nib) however, I usually can't quite manage to go a day without getting ink all over my hands.

Today is the first time using my MB WE Thomas Mann with intent. I really enjoyed writing to a very dear friend with this wonderful pen, using MB Irish Green ink through a medium nib on Clairfontaine paper. This is the very reason I bought such a pen.

Pavoni.

Pelikan M605 -- with a new nib! I damaged the previous Binder .5mm cursive italic and ordered another one. This photo is a deception. The writing was done with an M215 with another Binder .5mm cursive italic. I can never get nib shots because I use Noodler's bulletproof inks which make all my nibs look like kindergarten Christmas ornament projects. Which I don't mind but make for bad nib shots. So I figured I'd take a photo BEFORE putting any ink in.

I have several inked, using all of them in one form or fashion:

1. Brand new! Bexley 56 with stub nib, just received from Howard Levy, inked with Pelikan Turquoise

2. Esterbrook J, recently restored by FPN's 777, with a sweet writing 2668 nib, inked with Diamine Asa Blue

3. Visconti Voyager Anniversary, 18K M nib, loaded with Noodler's #41 Brown - butter smooth

4. Montblanc 146, 14k M nib, inked with Noodler's Borealis Black, for document signing

5. Bexley 10th Anniversary, with another GREAT stub nib, using MB blue-black

6. Sailor Sapporo Mini, with Rhodium plated 14k B nib tuned by John Mottishaw, using Sailor blue cart., always in my pants pocket

Probably my Esterbrook J with an Esterbrook 2668 nib.

Yesterday, I fitted a 2550 nib unit to my Estergrook SJ but it's too fine and scratchy. So I'm looking into a 3556 or a 9556 to replace it.
