A Pilot Custom 823 Clear M filled with Noodler's Bad Belted Kingfisher and a Wahl-Eversharp Ventura F filled with Noodler's Marine Green. New and old . . . it usually works out that way.

My really reliable writes every time vintage Lamy 69 with Diamine Damson, and a wee vintage mid 60's Italian no brand piston filler with a hooded super fine nib (I'm marking so need to write comments that stand out) primed with Diamine Pumpkin ....

Today's pen is an old style black Pelikan M600 with a fine nib inked up with Diamine Royal Blue.

Well, at the moment my fine-nibbed TWSBI Diamond 530 which arrived in this morning's post. Smooth nib, but slightly surprised by the weight of the pen. I see me using it unposted. Pleased with the pen, and quite impressed with the packaging.  I also have a Hero 329 to hand. At £2.99 including postage on eBay, why not? Have to admit, my 51 is not far away . . .

Lamy Blue in the TWSBI (I like Lamy blue!), Diamine Onyx Black in the 329, and a 50-50 mix of Diamine Teal and Marine in the 51 (it has a teal-coloured body and the ink mix is surprisingly close).

I just received a Lamy Safari in the mail from a fellow FPN user. Inserted the cartridge and it writes beautifully. I can't wait to really get to it.

The lines on the pen barrel make it look extremely cool and is a great contrast with the black finish...

Conway Stewart 388

Noodler's Purple Martin ink

Used for first time today. Purchased for $20. Came in original box. Shows no surface wear, no scratches, very shiny, beautiful 14 kt. nib. Needed a new ink sac. Restored writes beautifully.

I love vintage pens.

Hello,

I just purchased the Lamy Safari and I love it, it is my first fountain pen to. It's relatively cheap to.

Thanks,

Pelikan M800 at work, but just got my Caran D'ache Ecridor Maya back from repairs, so this will become my work pen again.

I look forward to each new day because it allows me plenty of opportunities to 'exercise' my much-loved pens.
