I love the weekends and having so many of my pens close at hand.Today I will be using my beautiful Esterbrook J series pens:

For writing some checks I will use my Blue Esterbrook J with Noodler's FPN exclusive ink, Van Gogh Starry Night

For personal correspondence , sending some "Get Well" wishes and "Miss You" notes on my personal stationery, I will use my Green Estie J with Noodler's Forest Green

For a grocery list and some doodles, I'm using my Copper/Brown Estie J, inked with a wonderful ink for these autumn days,

Noodlers Kiowa Pecan

I think tomorrow for the notes I will take in Sunday School class , I will use my Silver/Gray Estie with Noodler's Purple Martin. I am becoming increasing fond of this combination. Looks sophisticated, understated, Simple and beautiful at the same time. Purple is a regal color, perfect for the Lord's day.

"Be glad of life because it gives you the chance to love and to work and to play and to look up at the stars" ~Henry Van Dyke

Trying to rescue and restore all the beautiful Esties to their purpose.

Today's pen is my new to me Parker 51 Flighter inked up with De Atramentis Dark Blue, probably the closest shade to the old Superchrome Blue Black.

Today's pen is another one from my Toronto Pen Show haul, a Conway Stewart Duro in brown resin with a 18k fine nib and inked up with Diamine Imperial Blue.

This week, it's a Hero 700, or as I like to call it, my Screaming Eagle pen. (It has an engraving on the band that reminds me of the patches on my dad's old army uniform. He served in Vietnam with the 101st Airborne.) It's a nice writer, and looks great with the Zhivago I'm using.

I can't bear to be without a pen inked with black, so I am also carrying a Fuliwen Shakespeare inked with Waterman Black.

Love all, trust a few, do wrong to none.

I normally use a Parker Frontier (steel barrel and gold plated nib and clip), a Pink Parker Vector (good for quick notes), and a pink Parker Urban (a little heavier than the other two but still of a good quality)

Platinum Preppy 0.5 Medium Nib, Black Ink.

Simple, effective. :)

Also inked my 1920s Yankee for the first time with Waterman Florida Blue. What an excellent pen.
