I use a Schneider Base as a general purpose writing tool in the office. The pen is translucent blue and has been serving me faithfully for many years. I like the fact that I can leave it in the pen holder on my office desk, stay away for a while, come back, take it and it starts writing perfectly from the beginning. And Iknow I can leave it there because a plastic fountain pen that looks like a schoolpen does not say "steal me" :ltcapd:

For taking notes in meetings and for my letters I use the following ones:

  • Faber Castell Ambition, black, fine nib.
  • Rotring Newton, black, medium nib.
  • Waterman Graduate, chrome, fine nib.

Today's selections:

Lexon Classic (don't think Lexon makes fountain pens any longer) M nib with Asa-gao

Levenger Plumpster on a Diet B nib with Eclat de saphir

Waterman Audace M with Waterman Havana. Giving this pen one last go before selling it. I can't get it to write wet enough for my taste, even after spreading the tines as I've seen so many do on this site.

Lamy 2000 BB with Bleu myosotis

read, write, grade essays, repeat

Thus far, a Parker 45 (60s, fine, full of black Quink), a Parker 25 (cartridge as the converters that'll fit hold virtually nothing) and a Cross ATX (more quink).
