What Pens Are You Using Today?

Just one today. Haven't used the Visconti Wall Street for a while, so it got to be the office pen. Not much going on, as it's Friday. But...

"Here was a man who had said, with his wan smile, that once he realized that he would never be a protagonist, he decided to become, instead, an intelligent spectator, for there was no point in writing without serious motivation." - Casaubon referring to Belbo, Foucault's Pendulum.

Today's pen is a MkI Midnight Blue Parker 51 inked up with the much feared and greatly misunderstood Noodlers Baystate Blue.

Nakaya Heki Piccolo XF with Herbin Cafe des Iles. About to put it in my Nakaya Heki Ascending Dragon XXF.

Following Noodler's Golden Brown, with which I didn't get the shading I hoped for, but that's because I write too small. Nice not to have the ink smearing on every page of my journal and the nib creep like the Golden Brown - but wonder if I should learn to write larger to get the shading I'd like on that one. :hmm1:

Nice shading on the Cafe des Iles. Thinking of getting Herbin's Lie de The and Lierre Sauvage.... :)

I love to read others' pen/ink combos :) Today, I'm using my Lamy 2000 (it's been in the pen case for months with little use) and PR Ebony Blue ink.

I use a Lamy 2000 and VP alternately. Occasionally i'll use a Safari or the Lamy Nexx M (whose writing quality is the same as the safari)

don't know if i should admit it here but i always have a pocket fisher space pen with me, ( i don't trust myself with always carrying fountain pens)
