I've got my Sailor Sapporo filled

with Pelikan Brilliant Black,

Very nice writer, and I am very suprised at this pen because

most Asian nibs tend to be very stiff,

while this pen is erring on a (I'm stretching this a little)

semi-flex.

I might just put some sort of witty comment here.

Or I might just use a little dose of good ol' irony.

Everyday, always for me it is one of my beautiful Esties, Yesterday I used my beautiful Green J with Noodler's Forest Green (shown in this thread, post #6405) Today I am using my beautiful Blue J with a Firm Broad #9968 nib and Noodler's Blue. Esties are perfectly functional, perfectly beautiful and I'm perfectly happy. I feel no need to roam from my beautiful Estie-land.

Heading out the door this morning with 4 pens:

Aurora Optima, black, F nib - blue ink

MB 146, f nib - black ink

Visconti Van Gogh, m nib - green ink

Haolilai Gold CEO, f/m nib - red ink

Of course, I haven't made it out the door yet, so the OC tendencies may still come into play...

An Artus (pre-Lamy, Lamy) with a steel '50-60's Geha OB semi-flex, 15 degree cut nib. I've not got to Lamy to get my Artus nibs fixed.

I had the Geha nib laying around.

I'd made a mistake at first by not setting the nib deep enough in the friction feed. It wrote a few words and dried up. Now it works just fine, I am happy with it.

How ever once I get to Lamy, I'm going to have to find a pen for that great steel nib.

Some Artus have screw in nibs...all Geha's do too, but this came with out it's screw in feed.

Montblanc Starwalker that I received for my birthday from my wife and mom-in-law. Writes very smooth, though I still suspect it of being highly overpriced.
