Pelikan M800 Transparent Demonstrator with John Mottishaw medium stub italic nib.

Iroshizuku Wild Grape (Yama-Budo) ink.

I always get a kick out of these "no affiliation" notations when it's blatantly obvious the poster has absolutely nothing to do with the brand, company, etc. beyond being a customer. It must be a feel-good/feel-important thing. So I'll note up front that nothing I write here on this forum is influenced by any financial-gain motivation.

While traveling, even with all of the "better" fountains I have, my favorite is my Lamy Safari in canary yellow.

It's fun to write with and cool to look at. Interestingly enough, it's the only pen that generates attention and compliments from people. I like expensive fountains but they're like every other connoisseur item, NERDY stuff. ;)

So, Lamy Canary is traveling for two weeks with me.

Just finished some margin notes on a draft tech paper while using a black Fermo M loaded with Diamine Poppy Red.
