My Bexley Tortoise Poseidon with Noodler's AirCorp Blue-Black, my Bexley Americana (RIo Grande Red) with Noodler's Tiananmen, and (on again/off again, as needed) a Laban Terrazzo Marble Mento, also with AirCorp, and a Bexley Simplicity in Cracked Ice with Noodler's Marine Green for when I need green ink.

Today I've been using an awfully discoloured Waterman's 52 filled with J.Herbins Lie de The. Jolly good stuff, what?

Pip-pip!

Cordialement.

My brand new Lamy Al-Star in coffee brown. Lovely color...makes me want to go brew a pot o' joe & write for a while. I need to determine an appropriate ink for it; washable blue is not quite the right color for this one. Any suggestions?

It's only an addiction if you try to stop.

Right now, the pen on the desk is a C/C Gold Sheaffer Imperial, filled with a mix of Blue-Blacks. Not really doing much writing at the moment, though.

Haven't decided on what pens to use tomorrow, but I brought a case & a half of pens with me to choose from... :yikes:

I'm mailing grant checks for pets in need of veterinary care and signing the cover letters with my Pilot Custom 74 loaded with PR Black Magic Blue :) Who says pens can't make the world a better place?

The Working Pens for today were:

Sheaffer black Connaisseur, fine nib, with Noodlers La Couleur Royale - The main workhorse

Sheaffer Legacy (original style), fine nib, with Sheaffer Peacock Blue - The additional notetaker

Sheaffer black Balance 1000, fine nib, with Noodlers Tiananmen

Kaweco 171, fine nib, with Noodlers Green

For the evening, I just put all those pens back in the case, and got out my Cross Selenium Blue Verve, fine nib, with Noodlers Ottoman Azure.

Tomorrow, who knows?? :D

Today, apparently, was Pelikan day for work. Tools of the trade were:

M400 White Tortoise shell, XF nib, Noodlers Ottoman Azure

M400 Black (1990s style), F nib, Noodlers Dark Matter

M400 Green Stripe (1950s model), F flex nib, Sheaffer Green

M140 Green Stripe, DEF nib, Noodlers Nikita.

Trying to make it through all the pens I packed along with me. Might take a while.

OK, I'm not usually a Mont Blanc fan, but I just got a Starwalker with fine nib. I was somewhat put off by cartridge-only filling and the price. But - MB does make a good variety of cartridge inks, plus PR makes many cartridge inks and I can always refill cartridges with whatever I like. I got a nice local deal on the price (if you are ever in Houston, Dromgoole's is THE place to shop!). And what sold me is that the pen writes like a dream.
