The clip is gone.

The original nib is gone, got a large Sheaffer in there.

It started out as an ED but now has a cartridge.

It is large and writes just fine. :)

I have no idea how it started life. <_<

My "new" 1948 51 Slender, my '56 or so 51 Standard, and a Sheaffer VacFil.

Probably others later... I switch around a lot, trying to get the ink out of some of the pens I have sitting in a coffee cup on the desk!

Monteverde Invincia, M, custom brown ink from two Noodler's and Waterman;

Sheaffer Prelude, 0.9 cursive italic, brown ink;

Sheaffer Prelude, M, Noodler's forest green;

Conklin Mark Twain Signature, Lamy blue-black;

Hero 100, Noodler's Legal Lapis;

Lamy Accent; dark red blend of Noodler's Antietam and Tiananmen.

It's a snail afternoon, so I need to load all those pens. Really. Or maybe I just like writing with them.

Sometimes a technology reaches perfection and further development is just tinkering. The fountain pen is a good example of this.

I have the flu. :( But my one journal writing pen today has brought a smile to my face:

Montblanc Meisterstuck 146 - Noodler's Blue-Black

A fine pen, I'm really enjoying writing with it.

Steve, I had a look at that Cracked Ice Da Vinci this weekend in a pen shop--really stunning. Superb fit and finish. (Seemed to write nicely as well, from a dip test anyway.)

Today I have my lovely new raw ebonite Densho! I am as happy as ten dancing bunnies!

Isn't sanity really a one-trick pony, anyway? I mean, all you get is one trick, rational thinking! But when you're good and crazy . . . ooh hoo hoo hoo! . . . the sky's the limit!

Left home today with my Pilot Customer 823 filled with Platinum blue-black in my pocket and in a two pen case, an Omas Bologna filled with a turquoisey Herbin ink and a Pelikan fountain/roller thing from Pendemonium.

For a good part of the morning I was using my Nakaya at my desk.

My Bexley Owners Club 2007 pens arrived while I was at work and I immediately filled the amber one with Noodler's Beaver.

You got one in each color? I hope you will grace us with a review. ;)

I switch between a Lamy Safari I've had for about 5 years and a Parker "51". Once in a while I'll break out an Esterbrook $1.00 pen. Sorry, no pictures to add as I am at work <_<
