Today's pen is an early 1970s vintage Cisele Parker 75 with a broad nib inked up with Diamine Presidential Blue.

Still using my Pelikan Pura as my go-to pen. With a cartridge of Pelikan Violet in it, it's just been flawless. Really a lot more pen than I expected for the price.

Love my Waterman Carene, too, though for a medium nib, it writes a bit thin sometimes.

The Libelle Autumn Leaves just makes me happy.

Keep up with everything going on in our shop and our region! News and other stuff on our Facebook page.

Today is my Levenger Plumpster on a Diet in B nib with Herbin Eclat de saphir. I hated this pen when I first got it, but now that it's broken in, I really like the responsive and wet nib. It's becoming one of my favorite pens.

Today an Aurora Ipsilon, in yellow resin with a fine nib, that has been resting out of rotation for a few weeks. Filled with Private Reserve American Blue. Still one of my favorites!

I seem to usually have 4 or 5 inked up at any one time, but this weekend I have been using and loving my medium mustard yellow Pilot VP filled with Syo-Ro, and a burgundy fine Sheaffer Snorkel Special, which is the one with the open silver nib. I have Diamine Majestic Blue in the Snorkel, and the shading even with a wide fine nib is amazing.

Today, I am using a 50's Wearever, lever fill, fountain pen. It's the one with the bar down the middle of the nib. Very good little pen, has good flow and a fairly smooth glide across the paper. Mine is burgundy and has the screw threads for the cap as so many Wearever's had. The cap is brushed stainless which I think, is really plastic but looks just like brushed stainless. I bought this pen on Ebay, the cost was very little. Also, I commited a fountain pener's sin by grabbing up my Bic Cristal ballpoint. $1.14 at a major grocery store, that's about .12 cents each with tax added. I read somewhere that this was the number one selling writing instrument of all time! I don't doubt that, one can hardly go wrong at .12 cents each! It is non-refillable though but the ink is much darker than the ink used to be. These Bic's seem to write forever and are highly dependable. All my life, I've seen nurses and medical personnel using Bic Cristals. I only wish I owned one in gold or silver!

Waterman slip cap vintage semi flex and a namiki fermo. I also always carry my stipula passaporto everywhere

"Once committed to fight, cut. Everything else is secondary. Cut. That is your duty, your purpose, your hunger. There is no rule more important, no commitment that overrides that one. Cut. Cut from the void, not from bewilderment. Cut the enemy as quickly and directly as possible. Cut decisively, resolutely. Cut into the enemy's strength. Flow through the gaps in his guard. Cut him. Cut him down utterly. Don't allow him a breath. Crush him. Cut him without mercy to the depths of his spirit."

I've been using Wality fountain pen for more than 3 years now. Jet Black is the color of ink I usually prefer for writing as it creates a good undying impression on white paper. This pen is so adorable and admirable to me that I can't bear even a single day without seeing it sheltered safely inside my pocket like a 'bean in the pod'. It remembers me my ex-girlfriend a lot to whom I gifted the same color pen quite sometime back.post-29048-127435358064.jpg

In my pocket (or rather clipped to my shirt placket) is a Pelikan Technixx, recently purchased. Standard Pelikan cartridge ink. Hopefully on the way back home soon is a recently updated Pelikan Level 5 - changed the nib from OB to F. Also on the way home is a newly restored red striped Sheaffer Jr. I am a fan of Pelikans, but several years ago inherited a few old Sheaffers, which are being restored over time so I can pass them down to my daughters.

- A 6-euro Waterman school pen my wife brought home from the supermarket, and included cartridge, next in my series of starter-pen reviews

- Lamy Swift roller for doing VAT declaration :bonk: (FP ink goes through low-cost tax-office paper like a dose of salts)

- Lamy Safari with 1.1i & Diamine Jet Black for writing cheques :crybaby:

My favorite everyday pens are my Visconti Van Goghs. I love the way they write!

I'm curious as to how many pens others have inked up at one time? I love having a choice of ink colors and nib sizes to choose from.

Today was pen cleaning day! Put some away, brought out some others, refilled or changed inks... it took two hours. Yes, I had way too many pens in rotation.

Parker 51 Flighter, 1.3mm Minuskin stub nib, Visconti Blue.

Danitrio Densho Mt. Horai, fine nib, Iroshizuku Momiji.

Nakaya Ascending Dragon, flexible medium nib, Caran d'Ache Amazon.

Delta Citta Reale, broad nib, Herbin Violette Pensée.
