Today I am using a fine nibbed Montblanc Hemingway.

And how can this be, because he is the Kwisatz Haderach.

For weeks now I've been using my Namiki Falcon with SM nib - and for weeks the ink has been Noodler's Hunter Green! I'm still happy with this combo!

All day at work (and now at home), I have been using my reliable Pelikan M215 with the tic-tac-toe squares pattern. It is sooo smooth and reliable, I have to smile every time I write with it.

Also today, my package from Todd at isellpens.com arrived, and inside were another Pilot 78G with the medium nib, an M205 blue demonstrator, an M200 and an M150, the latter three all with fine nibs.

The flock of birds in my pen trays is growing! Not only are they nice to write with, they are (to me) works of useable art.

In my faculty office at peace (students are on spring break) writing a lecture outline with a wartime vintage Pelikan 100N, CN nib and Mont Blanc BB ink. Don't let anyone ever tell you that gold nibs are superior to german CN nibs.

Your produce alone was worth the trip...

While reorganizing art supplies this morning, I found an inked Rotring 600, OM. Must have been there for at least a month! Guess what I'm using today? tongue.gif

And on the down side, my work pen, a stainless steel Hero 100 seems to have developed a leak. I'm thinking maybe a crack where the hood meets the aerometric somewhere? I've used that pen for about 6 years at work, not pleased at all!! And I think I have already lost the Parker 45 flighter that I used instead of it yesterday.

Much Love--Virginia

Today's pens are a black M800 with a fine nib and a medium nibbed red M400 both inked up with Pelkan Koings blau (Royal Blue).

My Conway Stewart coronet, Sailor ProGear and OMAS Emotica came to work with me today. They'll all get their turn to come out and play :) at this moment its the Coronet.

Received my new Waterman 32 with a Binderized crisp Italic nib before leaving home this morning. Have it loaded up with Visconti Sepia.

I am also carrying a Parker Vacuumatic, a Namiki VP, a de la Rue, and a $15 Papyrus that writes surprisingly well - which I found out today when the Krone went dry.

I have a new Coronet arriving in a week! What size nib do you have? I'm thinking of going with the XF, but am not sure if that would be too fine.

Thanks,

Sarah

At home: For writing up a draft of my final paper for my German history course, I have my Pelikan M200 with its EF nib inked up with Noodler's Forest Green.

On the road: For today's grocery, my Lamy Al-Star served as my on-the-go companion.

So appropriate, using the Pelikan for your German History class. I only fill my English Duofolds with Diamine...

Today using my black Pelikan 100N, gold OB nib, a green Pelikan 100N with CN B nib and a 1984 Montblanc 149.

The green 100N is my letter writing pen because the BB CN nib is so crisp and clean, and flexible too.

Another vote for chromium nickel.

I am very excited about my new purchase of the Jinhao abalone shell Pen. It comes beautifully presented. I have some NOODLERS walnut and Montegrappa claret inks coming and will hold the Jinhao until they arrive. I will ink this one but as yet unsure which ink to use.

Any suggestions?

A Pelikan M600 medium I purchased at the L I Pen Show from Mr. Binder.

Welcome to the Forum. How long have you been into Pens? For me it only started late last year.

Two new pens I received today.

A blue Lamy Safari with XF nib and Pelican blue ink using the Lamy converter.

Now I can understand the many accolades for this pen. The clip works on my pants pocket and on my shirt pocket quietly and with no fuss. The pen writes every time. Again with no fuss. No flash. No exotics. It just works.

A Platinum Preppy that was included in the Noodler's HOD ink box.

Lots of fun watching the ink slosh around in the pen and wondering how long before it leaks out. I have had no experience with an eyedropper.

I frequently use very similar pens. Currently the two I always have on my person are a Clear Lamy Vista EF Nib with a converter full of Diamine Mediterranean Blue. I am lead to believe the Vista is essentially the same as the Safari. I love the pen because I like seeing what is going on.

Speaking of seeing what is going on my other pen is a Platinum Preppy 03 eyedropper that came with a Bottle of Kung Te-cheng. It's my favorite ink right now and will go into the Lamy when the blue runs out. I use and abuse my preppy daily and NEVER have an ink leakage problem. It holds a gallon or so of ink by my estimates and other than nib creep, which I don't mind, has no problem with the Purple. I liked watching the ink slosh so much I just got a bottle of the Nikita Red with a pen as well.

Best,

Mike Truppi
