Today I am breaking in my new Pilot Bamboo (F) with Private Reserve American Blue. I am in love with this pen. The Fine nib is super fine but no scratch at all.

My Sailor 1911 M Standard Black Gold-Plated H-EF, beside my calligraphy pens my only pen, and I love it (saw the Visconti Opera of the boss of our school, we talked about it and the pen and I felt in love, till I had seen the price :P)!

A newly auquired Cristian Sorrel to be inked with Visconti Black also purchase yesterday.

I am assured that the coloured pannels on the barrel are not abalone shell but are man made. The Pens are German design and manufacture and Asia assembled. SS nib.

Scew on cap and scew posting of cap. With cap posted it makes this a medium+ sized Pen with medium+ weight. A good every day Pen.

Yet to try.

A Zhenhao, 21st Anniversary model, commemerating the 21st year of their making pens! These limited editions are black with chrome trim, fitted with a F nib. The graphic work on the nib is quite nice looking, it is lettered 22K GP. This is a big and heavy pen, excellent for a man with large hands, who likes a bigger pen. These fountain pens can be purchased for less than $10 and in my opinion, they are really worth the price. They come nicely boxed and make a great gift! The chrome trim is highy polished and looks to be the heavy metal. Mine is fitted with Waterman standard black ink. This FP is fast and skates across any high grade paper. I know nothing about the company in China but unlike the nib, the cap ring reads, Zhenjue and the nib reads Zhenhao?? Sort of confusing! However, they seem to make pretty good pens!

I needed something quick today that would fill out documents and write with a deep black ink. I know it's a sin but I picked up a roller ball out of my collection and commensed to use it for this special purpose. It is a deep ruby red, German made, Senator Havana. At first I thought it would not properly post but on second look, I sort of twisted the cap on the barrel as if it were threaded and it held like a weld. The wet roller ball gel ink is dark even for a black and it spreads like butter. The pen is cigar size and has some chrome trim that is of the heavy metal type. It has a thick chrome clip and cap jewel, very strong clip! The laquer paint looks to be nine coats deep! Senator is made in Germany and now mainly sold for promo/advertising purposes. This Havana model is around $10 if you buy 100.

Using my new Taccia Amethyst Mosaic FP.... I'm still getting used to this thing. Its REALLY big for my small hand but beautifully crafted. Noticed with Platinum black it was dry as a bone. Seem to have a little more luck with Mont Blanc violet, but I'm thinking I need an even gushier ink like Visconti. Anyone else have a problem with this pen skipping and whatnot?

PS HELLO again! Missed you all!

Pens I own: Waterman Hemisphere F, Pelikan Epoch M, Parker Frontier Luna Purple M, 9 Lamy Safaris, 2 Pelikan Futures, 2 Heros, Taccia Amethyst Mosaic M, Lamy 2000 B, Kaweco Sport B, Pelikan M101N Souveran

When I win the lottery: Montblanc Boheme Doue Collection - Pirourette with Lilac Stone FP
