Today I'm with the Waterman Expert II Dune Blue F and a cartridge of Waterman Black ink that I'm willing to finish.

I have also the Pelikan M215 F with Waterman Havanna Brown and the Montblanc Starwalker F with Montblanc Ruby Red.

Today I'm using my old Reform (not sure of the model) filled with Watermans black in, my Waterman Carene filled with Havana brown and a Peter Pan pen I've just received that I've filled with Havana to play with. Also got a tiny eye dropper Peter Pan pen that isn't filled yet coz I don't know where I put my syringe. :) But actually mostly today I'll be using the laptop as I've a deadline looming!

Hi all I'm new so be gentle with me.

I "acquired" a Diplomat Classic which appears to have a barrel of-blue marble/gold appearance. The nib is silver/gold. It is about five or more years old and I’m wondering if anyone can direct me to a web site which will put a modern day value on it. I think it is worth about $AU150.

Also I recently purchased Visconti Kakadu #65 of 100. It is resin and Palladium. I understand they were only to be sold in Australia. Of course only 100 every made. Has anyone heard of this collectable – good or bad info?

the moving finger writes and having writ moves on..

Visconti Kakadu, Knights Templar and Opera Master, Jinhao Abalone Shell, Classic 626 SandBlast, Montegrappa Cortina, Monteverde Carbon Fibre and Huashilai Executive Marblied.

I'm still scribbling with my Namiki Falcon filled with Noodler's Dark Matter...

I'm from Southern Victoria Australia. I recently purchased a Visconti Kakadu #65 of 100. I'm yet to ink it. What is a suggestion for the best ink I can get easily Down Under. My intension is to design valve audio circuits with the pen. I build valve (tube) amps but now would like to do all drawing/designs with quality fountain pens. I also have a Diplomat Classic (about five years old) also.

I'm using a "made in China" fountain pen, the company name is "Classic". The pen is a beautiful black and gold window pane design. Gold trim with silver/gold nib. I had to send this pen to a pen repair person to get the flow opened up a little. When I received it back, it wrote like speading hot butter. The pen has a percision snap-on cap and the balance is perfect. It's presently loaded with Waterman black ink. This fountain pen costs no more than $5.00 and was surely a bargain! It rivels my pens that are much more expensive! It could possibly be the best looking pen in my collection!

I spent a delightful weekend on the night shift using my Mabie & Todd Swan

with Legal Lapis. It's a bit leaky but smooth. I'll disassemble it after

I've had some sleep to tune it up a bit.

Today I'm using a newly arrived cardinal red 1926 Parker Duofold Jr., with a luscious broad nib, filled with Iroshizuku Tsukushi. This pen is just dreamy--so much so that I am ordering a Sr. to match it.

Before the Duofold arrived, I was using my navy blue Parker 51, with a 1.3mm Minuskin ball nib, filled with Herbin Orange Indien.

Journal writing this morning was with a charcoal Lamy Safari filled with Private Reserve Tanzanite, everything else with a burgundy 1931 Parker Duofold Jr. filled with a homebrew burgundy.

I put the following in my briefcase to accompany me on a Tuesday - Saturday trip to visit my parents in Indiana:

blue stripe Pelikan 800 filled with Visconti Blue

emerald auroroloide Aurora Optima filled with Parker Penman Emerald/Private Reserve Sherwood Green mix

sapphire Namiki Impressions filled with Aurora Blue

burgundy auroloide Aurora Optima filled with Diamine Majestic Blue

Oh yeah, the 1931 Duofold Jr. will be traveling too, in my shirt pocket.

I have included an image of the Diplomat Classic. Any thoughts on a site which may give me more info. about the pen. I use it daily for both drawing (sketching and scribbling really) and writing.

And here is a better image of the Visconti Kakadu.

Today is a very very very exciting day !!!!!

I have been waiting about a week till I knew I had nothing to do for the whole of one day. Today is the day when the Sailor KOP gets inked ! If thats not enough I have also saved my amber Pilot Custom 823 just to make a complete day of it.

I've been struggling with the thought of what ink I should use for each pen but have settled on Iroshizuku yama guri for the Pilot and Sailor nano kiwaguru for the KOP.

Got a new red Moleskine for this special occasion too.

Moby

Ps: May post some pictures later.

The Pens you mention appear to hover around the $US400 mark. Is this typical pricing for the Pens uses of this forum are interested in. I'm new to the forum and have only just started a Pen collection.

Of the hundreds of pens that have passed through my hands, only one so far has been a complete washout.

I tried using a Huashilai today---there was no way I could get it to write, not with its included converter, not with a cart.

Indeed, the converter wouldn't even draw the ink (Pel BB). I think there may be a feed problem. Don't know the cure.

A shame, since it's a good-looking pen, black with a white marbled cap.

My latest ebook.   And not just for Halloween!

My other pen is a Montblanc.

Every day since I got it last week, my sparkling purple sapporo filled with sailor jentle ink in blue. I often get the odd feeling that the blue ink takes on a purplish tinge because the pen is purple.
