The Mont Blanc 149 with Pelikan black ink got used today.

Why do I choose this pen when I feel grumpy ?

Perhaps I feel I could throw it at someone should the day go downhill and feel confident thay will know they have been nit !!

Today a Sailor 1911 Demo which I recently acquired from a fellow FPN'er and about to ink up a Parker 51 1st year cordovan......

Every bit of feedback about Sailor nibs is true.....a very smooth ride.

Think before you leap......I should apply this to my typing skills.....edited due to typo.

I just received a 1942 Parker Vacumatic Junior in the mail yesterday, so I've been playing with it all day.

Today I made journal entries in my Moleskine notebook, about 5, maybe 6 pages. I wrote driving directions to one of the major airports around the city, so that my son would make it in time to pick up his aunt.

My trusty, inexpensive, blue Waterman Phileaus is my primary pen; I write nearly everything with it, except when I want to remind myself what other pens feel like. At the moment I'm considering sending the pen to Waterman to replace the nib with a Fine nib. (the pen now has a medium nib)

I see so many folks here using such nice pens, but with my budget, the Waterman that I have is just about the top of my budget capabilities. Oh, how I would love to find an older pen in a shop somewhere, take it home and if I can, clean it up and make it useable. Sigh java script:emoticon('')

After seeing Oldgriz's caramel brown 51  , I decided to fill my magenta Argentine 45 and olive green 45. Magenta one is filled with Swisher Tahitian Pearl, and olive green with Diamine Umber :)

Using the delightful Dani Trio Tosca I just got from Winedoc -- what a great pen for $50!

Writes smoothly, reliably and it's pretty, too! Just plain old black ink in it.

Also took out one of my CS Dinkies (Flecked Autumn) that I haven't used in months. Started right up. Filled with red ink (PR Dakota Red, I think).

Today, I'm using a Waterman Phileas filled with Noodler's Blue, a Pelikan M200 demonstrator with Diamine Aqua Blue and a Bexley Submariner filled with Noodler's Ottoman Azure.

Tomorrow, I plan to ink up my new Monteverde Mega Ink Ball and see how it goes.

So here's what happened
While you were nappin'
I just went out for a snack
I was feelin' famished
And then I vanished...
But now I'm back

Banned? No, around here we have much worse punishments. If I were you, I'd lock all the doors and keep a good eye out as you can be expecting a visit from the MT guys to remove such a heretical instrument. They'll probably melt the gold down to make some improvements on the Babbage's turbo flux resonators. :P

Nice pen, btw - for a bp anyhow ;)

At least it's gel. ;)

I'm in the market for a nice rollerball myself. The MT Wetware Ops goons should be knocking my door down any minute now.

Today's a Binderized kinda day:

Pelikan m800 with 0.8mm stub - Waterman Blue-black

Pelikan m215 with 0.8mm stub - Diamine Prussian Blue

Namiki VP with 0.6mm stub - Noodlers Squeteague

The m215 and VP nibs are new, and I never put the 800 down. :D

One of these days I'm going to brave a Binder cursive italic, but it's hard to pass on stubs. I do have a Deb Kinney CI coming soon, so that's exciting!
