Today I am using my new Pilot 78G. It's amazing how smoothly this $9.00 pen writes. More smoothly than some of my more expensive pens.

It just glides across a sheet of Rhodia.

I wrote in my journal this morning with a cardinal red 1926 Parker Duofold Jr. filled with Hero Blue, after which I wrote a letter to my dad with a blue stripe Pelikan 800 filled with Visconti Blue.

Jotted a note to my sister-in-law this afternoon with a 1927 Parker Duofold Sr. filled with Private Reserve D.C. Supershow Blue. Getting ready to write study notes with an old style Omas Paragon filled with a Pelikan Brown/Black mix, and an Aurora Optima filled with Diamine Majestic Blue.

Journal writing this evening will likely be with a 1927 Sheaffer Flat Top filled with a Private Reserve Spearmint/Sherwood Green mix.

Pelikan M605 F nib inked with my Racing Grün mix. Love that pen and the new nib, but it's wider than the M nib on my M200 demo.  :hmm1:

Maybe on my next Pel I will dare to order my first EF nib...

Inked up a Rotring 1st Gen 600 today with (M) nib. Filled it with Noodlers HOD. Very different to the pens I would normally opt for. But it puts down a very nice line.

Frankenparker: midnight blue 51 demi section, fine point, with teflon tape around the threads to mate with regular parker 51 midnight blue barrel and an Ariel Kullock yellow plastic cap. It's a little odd, but it's one of the best writing pens I have used. It actually looks pretty good too.

Also, a red Montblanc 164 ballpoint (broad refill) and one of Ariel Kullock's 51 fantasy ballpoints in pearly yellow with broad refill and Kama Sutra cap. It's a bizzare group, but all great pens.

I just wrote a thank you note with my Estie DJ with MB Blue. I have been trying to transition from architectural all caps writing to adult cursive and let me just say, loops and arcs are looking like that are in the wrong spot!

Great Pen and Ink makes it look cool... hehe

For work today I have my ACME FP for signing and a Cross Roadster rollerball; there is a nice Carne all metal mech pencil in there as well... :happyberet:

Today was my Visconti Van Gogh Maxi, honey white, fine 14Kt nib, with Waterman Black.

And my brand new transparent blue Waterman Phileas with fine nib, Waterman Florida Blue ink. OH, like my other Phileas', writes just so very well.

Wish I could write with both hands at once.

Jorg Hysek with medium nib and Levenger cobalt blue cartridge (this pen doesn't do well with converters).

Delta Alpha Romeo with fine nib and Noodlers Ottoman Azure

Pelikan Piazza Navona with fine nib and my own brown mixture based on Noodlers Kiowa Pecan (darker, with a hint of olive)

On my road trip, beginning with driving to the LA Pen Show and meandering through Arizona, New Mexico, and Colorado, I mostly used: Danitrio Fellowship, Danitrio Komori (now with exquisite flex EEF nib!), Nakaya Piccolo Cigar (now with fabulous firm M nib!), Mb Thomas Mann, and Stipula Vedo.
