All vintage:

-40s Sheaffer striated brown-gold pearl with #5 Feathertouch nib, that I just restored– smooth and graceful fine line with Pelikan Brilliant Brown ink;

-Esterbrook Model J, grey pearl, 9556 nib (medium line) that I restored last week, writing strong and wet with Waterman Florida Blue; and

-1927 Parker Senior Duofold Flat-top Big Red, just back from Jake's Pen Spa, firm and assertive medium-fine line, with Pelikan Brilliant Brown.

How do you like that Zoom nib?

Today I'm writing out the fumes of Cacao du Bresil in my black Waterman Phil/f-nib.

My other pen is a Montblanc.

I love it! I write at a fairly low angle, and it is very broad and very wet--equal to a western B or BB. Which suits me just fine, as I prefer wide and wet nibs. I do like being able to alter my angle to get a finer line; written with upside down, the nib produces an XF or XXF line. It's a fantastic nib (and quite fun to use!), as long as you aren't expecting a needlepoint. Additionally, the Realo is a great pen for this nib: since the zoom nib can really burn through some ink, the added capacity of the piston is nice.

Today I have the Starwalker Black Mystery with blue-black MB cartridge, that is now empty, so I changed to an Inoxcrom 77 with Waterman Havana Brown.

I also have a Cross Townsend roller ready to go.
