Right now I am putting a Preppy/Platinum Green combo to use. I am surprised at how much I am enjoying it.

Looking for an Omas Arco Verde...the one that got away.

Those are niiice pens, those Preppys!

Today I'm fiddling around with a new charcoal Lamy Safari 1.1 (Lamy Blue, cheerful color!), a smoke Pilot Plumix (SOME blue ink!), a black Pilot 78G B stub (Skrip Blue) and my old pink Rotring ArtPen 1.1 (a mix of Diamine Pink and Claret with a touch of J Herbin Poussiere de Lune).

All with an eye for writing a brief comparison review of the above.

My latest ebook.   And not just for Halloween!

My other pen is a Montblanc.

Well, let's see, I recorded study notes this morning with a black 1927 Sheaffer Flat Top, filled with a 1:1 mix of Private Reserve Spearmint/Sherwood Green.

I signed in at the blood drive at the hospital with a burgundy/black 1931 streamline Parker Duofold Jr., filled with a homebrew burgundy mix.

I wrote checks to pay February bills with a blue Pelikan 800, filled with Visconti Blue.

This afternoon's study notes were written with a red Pelikan 800, filled with a 2:1 mix of Waterman Florida Blue/Purple.

I will journal this evening with two of my three Aurora Optimas: the red auroloide, filled with Diamine Majestic Blue; and the green auroloide, filled with a 1:1 mix of Parker Penman Emerald/Private Reserve Sherwood Green.

well I have a large amount of Varsity's laying around, they are cheap they are good and I do not mind giving them out or using them in places I might use them.

I am also using a parker urban with a black barrel just got it back from parker today after repairs and was very happy they even threw in a free ink converter and 4 ink cartridges. :)

Been using my Pelikan M481/150 with an EF nib and filled with Rohrer & Klingner Alt Bordeaux throughout the day.

Is my go to pen-ink combination when I'm reading (good for notes on all kinds of paper).

Last night I used a freshly resacced and cleaned up Majestic -- cracked ice style celluloid lever filler with Warranted nib that came to me in a box of pens "needing work". Writes pretty well, not perfect, but shouldn't be hard to adjust in (tine alignment, flow adjustment, and maybe a hint of smoothing). Certainly not bad for a third tier pen that's probably seventy years old at a minimum...

Does not always write loving messages.

Does not always foot up columns correctly.

Does not always sign big checks.

So far today I've used mostly either a Parker Frontier, F nib, filled with Diamine Royal blue,

or a Pelikan Go!, M nib, filled with Diamine Presidential blue.

I'm trying to decide which ink I prefer.

Strangely enough, just one pen today. I have done all my writing tasks with an old style black Omas Paragon, filled with Omas Blue.
