I fear I made a big mistake obtaining a Parker 51 Flighter. I can't put it down, I can't pick up anything else! What a wonderful pen and beautiful writer! Maybe, I'll just top it off again tonight!

Lamy Dialog3 filled with Herbin Saphire Blue.

Visconti European Constitution wich I use with brown Sailor Ink today.

Both of these pens are wet writers and ink dries slowly, because of that, any tips?

For lab and official writing:

Stipula Etruria d'Inverno (freshly inked with MB Blue-black)

Sailor Professional Gear - mandarin yellow (Sailor nano-black)

(seems that I always have to have at least one Sailor in action...)

For other notes not requiring "official" inks:

Stipula Etruria Ambra with a nice 0.9 italic nib (Diamine Jade Green)

Pilot "Capless" Vanishing Point - orange LE, M nib (Iroshizuku Yu-yake)

Today, I have a Sailor 1911, yellow, full size, medium nib riding in my shirt pocket. My 3 pen case has a Levenger True Writer with a stub nib, a Parker 17, medium nib(English) and a Sheaffer PFM 1 (burgundy) with fine nib. On desk at home is a Sheaffer desk pen from the 1960's with medium nib. /Craig

Today I used my Parker Frontier with PR Purple Mojo and my Lamy AL-Star with Aurora black. (The Lamy was for Calculus II notes, and the Frontier was for fun!)

I'm using my Pilot decimo, Prera, and M90 today. I'm trying to empty out the current cartridges/converters by writing with them a lot so I can do my about-monthly flushing/cleaning and hopefully store a couple of them as I try to whittle down my rotation.

I'm taking my Pilot Parallel pens out to play today. I have two 1.5mm, one with Blue Black and one with Turquoise. I can't wait to experiment with blending the colors. I've got a pad of very smooth paper and a few address labels designed and printed. I think I'll write a few letters over a latte at the local coffee shop.

I feel a lot more like I did before than I do now.

When I left this morning I had a cardinal red 1926 Parker Duofold Jr. in my pocket (filled with Hero Blue). My three pen Pelikan case held the following.

* green auroloide Aurora Optima filled with Parker Penman Emerald/Private Reserve Sherwood Green mix

* red stripe Pelikan 800 filled with Duke Blue

* red auroloide Aurora Optima filled with Diamine Majestic Blue

When I arrived home for lunch a box was in the mail containing my blue auroloide Aurora Optima, just back from New Hampshire. It is now filled with Waterman Florida Blue for a test run (haven't decided if I'll stay with this or fill it with another once the test is complete).

Nakaya Portable Cigar Ishime Kanshitsu Heki-tamenuri, broad flexible nib, Montblanc Racing Green. This is becoming one of my very favorite pens. I am stealing Jonella's description of it, and dubbing it "the avocado pen"--it really does look like a Hass avocado! The nib is just a delight. It has the perfect amount of spring: enough to bounce along under light pressure and capable of being pushed quite a bit under heavy pressure.

Pilot Vanishing Point Black Carbonesque, 0.9mm Binder cursive italic nib, Noodler's Bad Blue Heron. I just inked this pen for the first time in a few months. I remember now why I loved it--it's just so convenient! I am using it to annotate my reading. Bad Blue Heron works so well for this purpose, as it doesn't feather (even on newsprint!).
