Today, I am not using any pens. No new inks either.lticaptd.gif

Whom am I kidding? My Laban Keiser glides like magic with my new Hero washable blue ink (a present from Doug Ad). Thanks Doug, you made my day!

You are quite welcome, glad you are enjoying it!

I began the day using a red auroloide Aurora Optima filled with Diamine Majestic Blue.

Just before I came home for lunch I put the Optima back in the desk and now have a 1950s black Geha Schulfüller filled with a Pelikan Turquoise/Private Reserve Sherwood Green mix in my pocket.

Just received my Visconti Van Gogh Maxi back from Coles of London with new 14K fine nib. WOW! What can I say?

Coles' provided very quick turn-around and just the most excellent service you can imagine. Wonderful, wonderful people.

And the pen? I was led to believe that the 14K Visconti nib would write very well. An understatement!

Today it is inked with Waterman Florida Blue and I am writing notes and having a great time!

Most of the day I used a very nice Pelikan M200 dark green demonstrator with a nice M steel (plated) nib (and its matching pencil) - filled with J. Herbin Lierre Sauvage.

Traveling today for work. Had a yellow Lamy Safari italic and Waterman Phileas in my coat pocket. On the way back home, stopped at a new (to me) antique shop to stretch my legs for the last hour of the trip. Managed to walk away from there with a vintage Koh-i-noor Rapidograph #0 (with box!) and two Sheaffer Touchdown pens both with 14kt Triumph nibs. It was a good day.

I wrote an extensive (and quite lovely) "To do" list this morning with my Visconti Arte Mudejar with a palladium 1.3 stub, filled with Herbin Lie de The.... :cloud9:

...and spent the rest of the day doing some of those "to do" tasks, most of which were grimy, back-breaking household chores. Ugh. Off to a shower...

Nakaya Spiketails, medium flexible nib, Montblanc Violet.

CP8 Vannerie, italic broad nib, Herbin Terre de Feu.
