I inked my Pelikan 100N with Waterman FB. I purchased it at the Ohio Pen Show last weekend. I love how it writes.

As an aside: I'm driven mad by having to choose. Have my faves, then some I know I should give a second chance{like my MB Chopin) Then there's some I've never used and I think "should I" ..........the pressure

Thanks

Today at work I used both of my Wing Sung 230 pens (one with Noodler's Brown, the other with Noodler's Black) for the crosswords in the paper; tonight I'll be using my Wing Sung 233 (in which I've finally corrected both the nib drying and the internal ink leak) for my journal. For whatever it's worth, those three pens could all be replaced for $11 plus $7 shipping, at least while isellpens.com still has supply.

While still culling my pens, I inked my Hero 86 (with the fude tip). I test-drove it with a mix of Pelikan Brilliant Brown and J Herbin Gris Nuage, and decided it's such a weird and wonderful nib that I'm refilling it today with more of the same.

My latest ebook.   And not just for Halloween!

My other pen is a Montblanc.

Two pens today,

1) A Teal MKIII UK Parker 51 with a nice wet broad nib the Newhaven factory was known for loaded up with Diamine Sapphire Blue

2) Mid 1950s green striped Pelikan 400 with a fine nib loaded up with Diamine WES Imperial Blue.

Another day with my two Wing Sung 230, one with Noodler's Black, the other with Noodler's Brown; tonight's journal will most likely be with my Sheaffer Imperial VIII and Noodler's Black.

An old black Parker 51 arrived from England today, and I think it was manufactured there. Big odd clip. After cleaning, polishing, buffing the nib and setting a new black jewel made from black coral (a little piece given to me back in the '80s), it is writing beautifully. Ink is my blend of blue Quink and Herbin Rouge Opera for a deep Royal Blue. My other daily writer is a 1930's Montblanc 333 1/2 with OBB nib and a similar ink blend. For drawing I use a pair of old Montblancs, 234 1/2 and 334 1/2. The nibs are the best I have. I also use two Lamy Alstars and a Sailor Sapporo for artwork.

Cheers from vancouver island

I just bought a sterling silver Waterford, "The round tower of Glendalough" Limited edition, #459 of #500. The nib is bent a bit, looks like it got dropped.

I was wondering if anyone knows anything about this pen and where I could send the nib to be repaired. I look forward to writing with it. It has a very classic look. I would post pics but I don't have a camera that could take good enough photo's.

Thanks for any help you may be able to give.

Duofold (black/gold) with Parker Mocha ink.
