I've been using my MB 149, loaded with Noodler's HoD. So far, strangely, I've not noticed any leaking around the section with it. I'm keeping my fingers crossed. This pen rates as one of the most comfortable I have to write with. (Before I got this one, I never thought I could like this particular model of pen. Boy, was I wrong...)

"Here was a man who had said, with his wan smile, that once he realized that he would never be a protagonist, he decided to become, instead, an intelligent spectator, for there was no point in writing without serious motivation." - Casaubon referring to Belbo, Foucault's Pendulum.

My spanking new red Pelikan Level 65 with a B nib. I love this pen, works like a charm and the B nib is very smooth and gives that ol' Pelikan Blue some nice texture. So now I need an F and M Level 65, maybe a Level 5...

Oh, and my trusty charcoal Safari got his first test ride with its new EF nib and R&K Verdigris. Very nice indeed.

I like your choice Bill! Today I have been using my red auorloide Optima (medium nib), filled with Diamine Majestic Blue.

Also, my four Parker Duofold Jr. pens (all with fine nibs):

1928 cardinal red, filled with Waterman Florida Blue

1931 burgundy/black streamline, filled with a homebrew burgundy

Today's pen is a gray Sheaffer Imperial IV (c. 1961). The Imperial IV is very similar to the PFM III, but thinner in profile and it has a touchdown filler instead of the PFM's snorkel.

Today I've been using my new-to-me 1950s Pelikan M400. It's the first pen I've owned that has an oblique nib, so it's taken me a little time to get used to it. Now that I'm getting the oblique thing, I really like the pen. Very wet and flexy writer.

My "new" MB 149 with 2-tone XF nib, filled with Aurora Blue. A dream, I tell you. An absolute dream.
