Today I went to buy ink (it's a rarity around here in the first place) and also found an Itoya Blade for less than four bucks.

It's kind of reminiscent of the Varsity but even cheaper-feeling, with a shiny, silvery Crackerjack-boxy finish. The section's a bit slippery to hold. Nevertheless the nib is smooth, and I like the light, vibrant blue ink.

My latest ebook.   And not just for Halloween!

My other pen is a Montblanc.

Did some general scribbling at the library today with my 1st gen Parker Vac using Parker Royal Blue ink.

This evening, doing a less-than-stellar journal entry, I used my recently rebuilt Waterman 100 Year, and a Waterman 94. (Parker Royal Blue & Noodler's Antietam, respectively.)

For Sunday morning, it's been a Wahl-Eversharp thin Signature with a slightly flexy XF nib and Noodler's Nightshade, and a burgundy streamlined Duo Jr. with vintage Sheaffer Blue-Black.

I'm in the process of cleaning up a Visconti Ragtime III. May end up putting some Noodler's Legal Lapis into it, though I'm not sure about that. (I'd made the mistake of forgetting this pen was filled with Noodler Lawrence ink. I'd laid it aside for a bit, and... well...)

Adding to a journal today with my Waterman LeMan 200 with it's cursive italic nib - and Noodler's Dark Matter ink. I'm really starting to love this ink!

Yesterday was an all-Pelikan day.

Today, I'm bringing out my blue Esterbrook SJ with 2048 nib, and my copper J with the 2668 nib. Just because :)

I used my Sheaffer Imperial VIII (reground to fine stub), with Noodler's Black, to check off items on the grocery list as I shopped (the P51 was too fine, kept poking through the unsupported paper).

Does not always write loving messages.

Does not always foot up columns correctly.

Does not always sign big checks.
