Wrote in my journal this evening with my yellow M200 Pelikan, Binderized OM nib, and Noodler's Lermontov ink. The window only shows a few 'bubbles' - seems to be running a little low on ink!

Ha! My Lanbitou 222 (with Levenger Raven Black) is getting a work out today. I am trying to go through a converter of ink every time I use the pen. I think the converter might win today though.

At work today I used these:

* red auroloide Aurora Optima (M nib), filled with Diamine Majestic Blue

* black old style Omas Paragon (F nib), filled with Omas Blue

* green auroloide Aurora Optima (M nib), filled with Parker Penman Emerald/Private Reserve Sherwood Green mix

* blue stripe Pelikan 800 (F nib), filled with Visconti Blue

At home tonight I wrote checks to pay the October bills with a green stripe 1980s Pelikan 400 (F nib), filled with a homebrew blue black.

I also wrote a letter with a 1937 green Pelikan 100 (OM nib), filled with Waterman Florida Blue.

Today's pen is a Pelikan M800 Green stripes with a medium nib loaded up with Noodlers Blue Black.

I wrote a pen-pal letter with a Rotring Core "Lysium" using an unbranded brown ink from Poland, then I addressed the envelope with a Lamy Safari and Noodler's Black ink. Signed a few things with a Hero 329 "Star Trek" pen and Noodler's Black.

I have inked a recently acquired mystery Sheaffer's. It should be a Cadet 23, made in Australia, Touchdown filler. It has a surprisingly flexy nib.

Oh. filled with Sheaffer's brown.

Another workday, did the newspaper crosswords with my Wing Sung 230 (Noodler's Black) and Huashilai 2375 (Noodler's Luxury Blue). Updated my check register with my Hero 187 (Noodler's Brown), and haven't yet decided what pen I'll be using for my journal later -- possibly a Perry & Co. Great Eastern non-corroding dip pen with my homemade iron-gall blue-black ink.

Does not always write loving messages.

Does not always foot up columns correctly.

Does not always sign big checks.

Today I carried my three-pen case:

Pilot Custom 74, 0.8mm Binder stub nib, Diamine Monaco Red

Pilot Custom 823, 0.7mm Binder italic nib, Noodler's Gruene Cactus (Eel)

Danitrio Nami-Nuri Wine, stiff stub nib, Herbin Poussière de Lune

These Japanese pens are starting to spoil me!

I left the house for work tonight with two pens.

One of my OMAS T-2s (Med Nib Milord) filled with Noodler's Red-Black

And the little rose coloured Merlin 33 I bought from Mr. Binder a few weeks back (I'd call the Nib a Semi-flex Fine) filled with Waterman's Blue-Black.
