Oh yes - it was in perfect condition. I gave it the full flush procedure advocated elsewhere and it seems to just gobble up the ink. I'm absolutely delighted with it. It's a lovely grey colour with gold cap and a perfect arrow-head too. Gorgeous looking pen. Writes superbly. :):)

Going large and loud today, the ST Dupont black Orpheo w/ Dupont cart black. 18k nib sometimes squeaks when it writes on certain papers! Good writer, good weight. :)

Parker vector with Parker Quink black I carry it to work and it is lucky for me, I wrote a major part of a published novel with it, it is the only pen with my name on it, then got home and used a Parker Fougere sterling silver medium nib with Pilot kon peki ink later wrote bits of a journal with Parker slimfold fine nib with Waterman Florida blue in it.

Today's pen is an old style 18 year old Pelikan M600 in green stripes, fine 18k nib and loaded up with Diamine Prussian Blue.

Down to four inked pens.

Inked the Burgundy Sheaffer Valiant with Private Reserve Black Cherry.

Was a day off in Ontario today - even the Stock Exchange closed. Took time for journal writing in my Moleskine.

Today's work pens were my Wing Sung 230 (PR Ebony Green) and backup Huashilai 2375 (PR Velvet Black cartridge). Tonight's journal pen, barring unforeseens, will be a freshly resacced Wearever (unknown model, it's the one with a very long tapered section and tiny nib), most likely in Ebony Blue. I'll almost certainly also use my Esterbrook J (mint green, 2556 nib, PR Ebony Green) for some other writing...

Last couple days, and today, i have stuck to one pen, Pilot Penmanship EF with Diamine Maroon, trying to use up the color... Like it but got more samples to use! Am really loving the pen, too... kinda hard to want to go to another one.

Today has been a one-pen day for me, too. I'm using an obsidian Levenger True Writer with a fine italic nib (that was reground to be a finer italic nib by Mike Masuyama). It's filled with Levenger's Gemstone Green, a color I haven't tried before, and I like it. It's a greenish teal, very pleasant.

Today at work I used a Montblanc Boheme Noir with Montblanc blue black ink. Tonight I need to reply to some cards I received from the Postcard swap people and will be using my 149 with Quink black.

Pelikan M805 in blue & silver filled with 4001 Black. Celebrating finding it in the bottom of my briefcase having thought I'd lost it on the train yesterday. Phew!

Today's pen is my green Inoxcrom, I took off the nib & feed section, replacing it with a Manuscript Italic nib, 2B. :]

I was so surprised and happy when even the Inoxcrom's converter fit the Manuscript nib. The only drawback is that it doesn't close all the way.

Oh well. :] Writing notes with (a novice, although hard at work practicing) Chancery hand!

As usual, my Wing Sung 230 had crossword duty, with the Huashilai 2375 standing backup. Tonight, I'll be using my Esterbrook J and my reground (0.7 mm cursive italic) Hero 257.
