Today I have been using a Parker 51 I got last week at a well known auction site. It's my first P51 and I am very pleased with it. Using Parker black Quink.

Today it's been a Bexley Owner's Club 2006 in the Tibaldi celluloid, Carter's Washable Blue vintage ink, Minuskin tweaked fine nib, and a vintage Conway Stewart 85L in green herringbone, factory stub semi-flex nib, filled with Diamine Woodland Green.

Yesterday was almost exclusively taken up with reading (working my way through two published doctoral dissertations on a subject I am currently teaching), so my Bic Brite Liner highlighter pen saw more action than any fountain pen.

I did make some corrections to printed text on a report to be submitted with a Hero 329, filled with an Omas Vespucci Red/Private Reserve Fiesta Red mix. Signed the receipt for dinner last night with my ruby Namiki Impressions roller ball (black G2 refill).

Today I have a 1931 burgundy Duofold Jr. in my pocket. It is filled with a homebrew burgundy.

A 1942 brown Parker Vacumatic Maxima with a nice wet medium nib loaded with Diamine WES Imperial Blue.

I am a new member and am watching carefully the travels my newly ordered Lamy 2000 is taking from Kuala Lampur to Tennessee. At present it has left Hong Kong and where it goes next is an open question but interesting to watch. This is my third recent purchase -- from a Parker Pin Strip Duofold to a Bexley Simplicity which, after 30 years will join my 1968 Parker 75 and my 1980 MB 149.

Suggestions for future ownership--

Glad to be a part of the FPN.

Welcome, jasperbob! It's fun to chart a pen's travel adventure--builds anticipation for the moment when you can finally get it in your hand and write.

I just wrote out the nameless rubbery-finish Japanese pen---so I'm down to uhh, seven?

Can't decide whether to write out another one or fill a fave that has not seen action in a while: the Tombow Zoom Egg.

Hmmm............ no, I will write out the nameless pink pen with the rubbery translucent barrel and unknown pink ink. Though I'm not in a pink mood. :P

My latest ebook.   And not just for Halloween!

My other pen is a Montblanc.

Trading the Lamy Safari's (XF and B ) for P51S and P100. All with Noodler's BB... wondering how the Parkers will perform on carbon paper.

The 51 was designed for carbons.

Does not always write loving messages.

Does not always foot up columns correctly.

Does not always sign big checks.
