What Pens Are You Using Today?

I just inked one of my mini Hero 366 pens--a dark green, with J Herbin Lierre Sauvage. Fun little pen, nice medium-green ink with distinct yellow undertones.

My latest ebook.   And not just for Halloween!

My other pen is a Montblanc.

Arrived back from a three day road trip yesterday, during which I wrote exclusively with two Auroras: modern 88 filled with Waterman Florida Blue, and a red auroloide Optima filled with Aurora Blue.

Yesterday I used:

1927 Parker Duofold Jr., filled with Namiki Blue

Hero 616, filled with Noodler's Borealis Black

two Waterman Phileas pens:

* red, filled with Noodler's Red

* blue, filled with Waterman Florida Blue/Purple

Today I wrote with:

Hero 329, filled with Omas Vespucci Red/Private Reserve Fiesta Red

1997 Parker Duofold, filled with Parker Penman Sapphire/Waterman South Sea Blue

1934 Sheaffer Balance, filled with Waterman Purple

1926 Parker Duofold Jr., filled with Doctor Blue

Waterman Phileas, filled with Waterman Florida Blue/Purple

Today, its bold writing for me. Sailor KOP red marbled ebonite with a King Eagle nib using PR chocolat.

Ah, that fresh ink on paper look!

Looking at my Pelikan M800 right now, blue stripe and black, gold trim. Waterman Florida blue ink. Fine point. Love the pen size and the nib design. So very solid. The very best writer that I own.

Back to work today, so it'll be the Huashilai 2375 with PR Velvet Black cart for the crosswords. The Hero 257 is due to be flushed preparatory to regrinding the nib to a cursive italic.

Does not always write loving messages.

Does not always foot up columns correctly.

Does not always sign big checks.

Discovered another inked pen---an inexpensive Japanese model with a rubbery burgundy barrel and surprisingly wet medium nib, which I had inked with a mix of Poussiere de Lune and some unknown red, in an attempt to match the barrel color... :P

Rescued it from oblivion and will be using it today to edit.

My latest ebook.   And not just for Halloween!

My other pen is a Montblanc.

In a French and lacquer mood today so grabbed my Dupont Orpheo w/ Dupont bleu royal cart, intending to write in journal during breaks. Added the Parker Premier to my shirt pocket on the way out the door. I've got the squeeze converter today with PR's Ebony Green which I've been loving all month in different pens. :) Both are mediums but Parker's is a thinner and drier medium. Vive la France!
