Have been traveling out of state on business this week. Mainly using Pelikan 200 red demonstrator fine w/matching BP. Also, one of my beloved Waterman Kultur fine points w/Waterman Florida Blue; black Aurora in the Pelikan.

Today, just one: a Lamy Vista converted to an eyedropper filler, filled with Lamy Turquoise coming out of a smooth EF nib.

We were away the past two days spending holiday time with my wife's parents. I took five pens with me (four Auroras and a Pelikan).

Yesterday I wrote with my newest Aurora and Pelikan pens:

red auroloide Optima, medium nib, filled with Aurora Blue

blue stripe 800, fine nib, filled with Visconti Blue

Two auroloide Optimas today, both with medium nibs.

the red again, and the green one, filled with Private Reserve Spearmint

NONE! I've spent the whole day working in the yard or playing on the computer. I haven't even picked up a pen!

Today (taking notes at my Pulp Hero game) I'll be carrying my mint-green Esterbrook J (2556 nib with PR Ebony Green) -- with my Dollar 717i (PR Ebony Blue) as a backup.

Does not always write loving messages.

Does not always foot up columns correctly.

Does not always sign big checks.

My little Sailor Sapporo Mini with Sailor Kiwaguro Black ink just wrote a letter to my most frequent correspondent. My Waterman Charleston worked on one of my fiction manuscripts today, writing with Noodler's Ottoman Azure, a lovely blue, imho. My Aurora 88k had a change of ink from Omas Blue to Aurora Blue (just because) and wrote a short note for my significant other to read upon returning tomorrow from a weekend spent visiting relatives and a sick friend. My Aurora 88p with Diamine Majestic Blue and my Visconti Tortoise Van Gogh Maxi with Visconti Blue are ready and waiting in the pen case should I still need to write something this evening.

Today I'll be carrying my usual work pens -- Huashilai 2375 with Foray black cartridge for the crosswords, and Hero 257 with PR Ebony Blue for everything else.

Today is Pilot day, 2x Custom 98's. One is the monochromatic burgundy (souvenir from Nagoya, Japan) and the other is the yellow model with black tassies (from the web.) Both have identical 14k gold nibs, but amazingly feel very different to write with so it brightens up my Monday. :) I've had each for almost 4 years now. Pilot green and Pilot blue. The burgundy is softer touch so writes on any scrap memos or phone sheets at work. The yellow is fussier so gets the cream stationery "thank you's" I'm needing to write.

A 1928-31 Wahl-Eversharp Gold Seal Personal Point Soldier Clip FP/MP set, in black and pearl celluloid. The colour is nearly flawless, and the fountain pen has a stub nib. :cloud9:

ETA: Oops! I posted this in the wrong place; it should be in the "What pen did you get today?" thread. Excitement does funny things to me. :)

Once more, my Huashilai 2375, Foray black cartridge, for the crosswords, and my Hero 257, PR Ebony Blue, for everything else. And time to go put them in my pocket and head off to work...

I was using a Uni Vision Elite 0.8 Blue today for a few minutes, until my supervisor declared he wanted to buy it from me. Transaction complete, I fell back to my much less glamorous ( :P ) Lamy 2000, filled with Noodler's Coral Sea blue black, a curious teal/black that has become my daily use ink because I love the colour and shading.

Shop keepers do tend to freak a bit when I sign credit receipts with it though, as I discovered anything remotely green is associated with tax auditors!

Today I've got my Cartier red Trinity with a broad nib and MB BlueBlack. Since I've joined FPN I've even learned it might be a Montblanc production in disguise along with my MGrappa! :hmm1: . Well, there could be worse scenarios! But I love the weight of the Cartier. It's a serious pen but I can't write too long with it posted. So I make sure I'm at my desk and the cap is securely put away. And the red lacquer just shimmers. Ok, so I like pens....

Waterman Silver Carene with Waterman Florida blue (what can I say it works best in this pen), and Bexley Simplicity with Havana brown. Note taking with my silver Al-Star filled with Zhivago. Late already so its off to work :)

In my pocket is a lapis 1927 Parker Duofold Jr. (fine nib) filled with Waterman Florida Blue, but it has not been used yet.

I did all my writing this morning with a blue stripe Pelikan (fine nib) filled with Visconti Blue.

Edited to say, now that I have written with the Duofold Jr. I realize it is actually filled with Namiki Blue, not Waterman Florida Blue.

The pens I use will impress no one, but last week I wrote out a black Parker Reflex filled with part Levenger Raven and part Quink, plus a Rotring Skynn with a mix of greens and blues, and a black Pelikano with some PR Lake Placid Blue.

I haven't picked up anything but Forays and Petits since. Uninspired at the moment, burnt out, what have you.

My latest ebook.   And not just for Halloween!

My other pen is a Montblanc.
