1980s Lamy, GKW, the nib is as a stiff as a 6 inch nail and a Sheaffer Desk Pen with a triumph nib both with MB Bordeaux - any UK FPNer want a sample?

Today in my 3-case I've got an Aurora Ipsilon tortoise shell 14k f nib w/ Aurora black cartridge; a Parker Premier (75 relative) Chinese lacque that's nearly tortoise shell with the gold speckles, 18k M nib w/ Parker Blue cartridge; and my new Pelikan 200 nearly translucent black with the brass italic nib and PR Tanzanite.

I was in the mood for a nib range and turtles. ;)

Pens are like watches , once you start a collection, you can hardly go back. And pens like all fine luxury items do improve with time

I left the house for work tonight with just one pen; My Pelikan Grand Place, Fine Nib, filled with Noodler's Lexington Grey.

Going through all my pens to make sure they all work fine, first three is a Platignum Petite witha sweet little gold nib, a Wearever lever fill with a huge steel nib and a no name job that has styling cues from Sheaffer and P51.

And if anyone can put a brand name to the pen below then I would be very grateful.

All with MB Bordeaux and all are better than I remembered. Long Live the Third Tier!

Well, I hate to say it, but I've been BP-ing for the past few weeks. It's been so devilish hot & muggy, it tends to play havoc on the pens and on what I've written. (Humidity makes even the best inks dry slowly.)

Strangely, the last couple days have actually been chilly. Wet and cold. And, having to be out in it a bit, I carried... A BP. My Cross Tech3...

Aaaaah. Now I'm using my (just back with new sac, barrel jewel, and cap) mint-green Esterbrook J (2556 nib, PR Ebony Green). Happy, happy... :cloud9:

Does not always write loving messages.

Does not always foot up columns correctly.

Does not always sign big checks.

Home today, cleaning for guests since none of us are supposed to live in homes that look lived in . So had fun with Pelikan M200 amber demonstrator w/ PR Shoreline Gold. It always looks much different on different card stock than the internet version on PR's website which is a lot "orange-ier" -- at least on my screen. But I love how it looks flowing out of the amber translucent pen.

Received my Montblanc 149 B Thursday and have been using it ever since.

I love watches and pens - yet I find hardly time to write...
