What Pens Are You Using Today?

Have my Pelikan 215 in my shirt pocket as I have all weeks.

Last weekend I took the 30" right-foot oblique out of my "Katie Hill" and the Arabic out of my clear demonstrator and put back the nibs with which they started.

The 30" is in the 215 now and I'm enjoying the heck out of it! It had kind of gotten set aside when I got the Arabic but now I remember why I love this one. I'm right handed, but hold the pen sideways almost like a left-hander. This nib and the Arabic are the only ones that give me broad downstrokes and narrow horizontals. To tell you how strange that is, the intent of the Arabic is that it will give broad horizontals!

By the way, I suspect that this 30" right-foot is unique. Richard had not made any others at the time I got this one from him. (And since it's a pen and nib I got from Richard, it has Waterman Blue/Black in it.)

Two Danitrio prototypes EDs, both clipless, one large holds at least 5ml of ink (can hold more) and the other smaller and holds at least 3ml. I like product testings

Sheaffer steel-nib el cheapo (translucent blue barrel) with a cart of Peacock Blue (slightly tinted with whatever Skrip was in there before) and a new-style Pilot Varsity in black.

Having lots of fun with my "$27" .6 mm Dillo stub, with R&K Alt Bordeaux. Which is great in it, but I think I will go back to Noodler's Red-Black as the absolute perfect ink for this pen.

Also just reloaded my white tortoise with Noodler's Golden Brown, all is right with the world once again.

Isn't sanity really a one-trick pony, anyway? I mean, all you get is one trick, rational thinking! But when you're good and crazy . . . ooh hoo hoo hoo! . . . the sky's the limit!

Today was my black Eversharp Skyline with Waterman's Blue-Black, an ink quickly becoming my favorite :)

Sounds like a great choice, Sonia.

PS I am using the Parker "51" Vac that I recently purchased from Ryan with my custom mix of Blue/Black, plus a Legacy II with Copper finish and a wet, fine nib.

Today it's the red Marvy "Le Fountain Pen" I picked up this morning.

It's definitely (American) football season. I read your post a couple of times as a "red Marv Levy" pen.

(For those who don't follow US football or whatnot, Marv Levy is the general manager for the Buffalo Bills and one of their greatest head coaches in recent memory. Of course, the recent coaches have left something to be desired....)

RE: pens I'm using today -- Parker 51 aerometric desk pen (medium nib) with Noodler's Blue and Parker 51 vacumatic with Noodler's Legal Lapis.

Today, it was mostly my Pelikan M200 amber demo with a Binderized cursive italic nib; Pelikan M200 blue demo with round medium nib; and silver Sensa Meridian with a medium nib.

Don't ask me to name the ink colors because I'm too tired at this point.

RyanL27, your pen looks beautiful in that shot.

My Waterman Kultur has arrived today and I've inked it with waterman blue black. And with this pen this ink is actually a shae of blue instead of green. So, lot of love for the kultur today. :D

Danitrio Raw Ebonite Densho, with XF flex nib. It's filled with PR Black Magic Blues and writes oh so beautifully.
