At this moment I am using a Robust Brown Noblesse S-Line.

I like this model because it has a slim line and it's very good for every day.

Once again, my Huashilai 2375 (Foray black cartridge) has pocket duty.

Does not always write loving messages.

Does not always foot up columns correctly.

Does not always sign big checks.

Lamy Safari F loaded with Sailor Jentle Blue; Waterman Phileas M loaded with Noodler's Old Manhattan Black; and Waterman Exclusive F loaded with Private Reserve Orange Crush.

I love the smell of fountain pen ink in the morning.

Blue Cedar Parker '51' Blue Diamond Vacumatic, fine/medium point, loaded with Sailor Kiwaguro - which has transformed a formerly dry and flat-spotted reluctant writer into a wet and buttery smooth instrument.

Grey Marbled Omas 556/S, flexible fine, inked with Iroshizuku Kiri-Same (grey). Aside from matching the pen beautifully, the Pilot ink has excellent flow characteristics and shades nicely in a flexy nib.

...and my new Aurora 88, courtesy of Paolo aka Sanpei, which arrived this afternoon and was immediately loaded with Iroshizuku Asa-Gao (blue). Fine and extremely - I might say astonishingly - flexible nib and a very wet flow make this one a real handful, but very rewarding.

I'm using two wonderful pens today. One is a black Omas Emotica with a fine semi flexible nib. The other is a striped Senior Parker Duofold with a fine/XF nib. Both offer a very different but excellent writing experience.

I am a two month old Noobi...and have only two inks...Pelikan Royal Blue and Pelikan Brilliant Black.

Those with the X were inherited pens from @1950 that sat in a drawer for fifteen years. The Finance Minister tasked me with finding out the worth of some 8 pens, at 20:00, at 02:00 I had an eight pen, fountain pen collection.

Inked, setting in a brass accented desk set; with brass letter opener, that use to be stuffed with "Gasp" BP's, and cheap ones at that. Now there are six fountain pens, and in the little holes made for BP's are a Parker Jotter and a ribbed French Flighter.

I had more Parker Ball Points and roller balls than I expected.

1. Pelican M-605 BB (Brand new) Bought a couple of weeks ago, that I sent off to Hanover for the new BB nib. Pelikan Brilliant Black.

The rest are inked with Pelikan Royal Blue.

2. X Esterbrook Double J 2968 Broad

Silver Hatched Parker 75 medium first hand from @ 1970. Got a funny French description now. All those wasted years…but at the time nothing was better, so why worry about second best. It and the matching mechanical pencil, sat in my wife's jewelry case for thirty years.

X Osmia-Farber-Castell with Osmia Supra fine nib.

X Artis- Ballit (pre-Lamy Lamy) extra fine

Osmiroid 65 with an Osmiroid Broad Italic nib and set, one does after all have to learn how to write finally in life.

I fed them after Midnight.

Inside of two months, I have 30 that need sac's and nibs, or nib fiddling, out side the cheap Waterman that needs a converter.

I think I have enough.

I can only see a "need" for a couple of more...after I get the rest working.

Today is Sunday, kind of a slow day (no work, so no crosswords). I'll be using my Hero 257 (very wet light medium, PR Ebony Blue) when I work on the story I'm writing, and most likely the Osmiroid 75 (dry-ish fine, PR Ebony Green) for my journal.

Does not always write loving messages.

Does not always foot up columns correctly.

Does not always sign big checks.
