:) phew-sigh of relief-found my red Lamy!

had to use a blue generic ballpoint at work yesterday, when :gaah: I opened my small Bagalinni with "2" pen loops, and  Both were EmPty :bawl:

silently fretted about the loss, wondering when Ever would I have the time to replace my red workhorse pen.. though it did give me clear reason to replace with the better choice Fine nib..

so ok..relief..I'll cope with the medium nib for now..found that I truly appreciate having a nice fountain pen even if nib a tad too big to make my writing very clear/legible

Luvs teh Baggallini! Glad you found your pen, though.

Today I'm using another blue-collar special: Peli Jr. in yellow, filled with Diamine Golden Brown. It's a pretty nice barrel-ink match.

My latest ebook.   And not just for Halloween!

My other pen is a Montblanc.

p2p-Thanks SK..did look for that cute floral bag, but the small Bagalinni matte brown fabric allows me to be hands-free on the job.. $14 at Tuesday Morning...and "2"!!! pen loops! 2nd x with Bagalinni, sturdy zippers, practical vs seasonally good looking:) Diamine GB is a great antique/sepia brown

Which Baggallini are you talking about? I got a teeny one with three outside pockets and a double-zip top that's sort of like a messenger bag. It's got two big pen loops inside, too. ^^

mine is slightly bigger than a french wallet.. one zipper pocket outside, 3 inside, shoulder strap can be hooked horizonal, or vertical, there are also belt loops. I wear it horizontal for quick zipper access, think the day I wore it vert was when pen slipped out...(onto my sofa-thank goodness-whew!).

Today's active writers would make for a long list, so I'll just note three. I did some correspondence with a 1937 Pelikan 100 with a delightful OM nib. It really lays down a sweet looking line of Waterman Florida Blue!

Although I did write with about nine or ten pens at various times throughout the day, the majority of my work was accomplished with two pens, interestingly enough both filled with the same ink (Visconti Blue):

* Pelikan 800, fine nib

* 1927 Parker Duofold Jr., fine nib

In current rotation:

Pilot Prera, Japanese F - Waterman Blue-Black

Pelikan M200 (Galeria Kaufhof), M - Waterman Havana Brown

Esterbrook SJ, 2048 nib - Diamine Monaco Red

Just because I love the colors of the pens in my case - pink, yellow and blue!

I've used an assortment of pens the past few days; the two I used most were:

a blue carbonesque VP filled with Diamine woodland green,

a blue (barrel and cap) Aurora Idea, M nib, filled with Omas blue.

(and after I wrote the VP dry I switched to a black Pelikan Future filled with the Diamine green)
