Pulled an old, old favorite out of the box. My red Parker 21 with Waterman black. Reminds me of my school days. I will be a young student all day long.

Yesterday I removed and soaked the nib of my old Parker Sonnet Cisele. This is an old original model. Haven't used it in years, caught my eye and here it is, inked with my Parker Sapphire Blue. Great writer, fine semi flex nib. Don't know why I haven't used it more often. Now to wipe off some of the tarnish...

In honour of my late Mum who would have been 84 today I am using the pen that is nearest her Birthdate, my wonderful Duofold Jr (seen here with it's fellow musketeer ( I have named the three vintage pens I got from Maja the three musketeers!) the wonderful vacumatic!

Well, I haven't been really doing much writing this evening, but I've been toting a Waterman O552 Sheraton, filled with a Parker Black Quink.

Hate to say it, but I've actually been doing most of my quick scribbling, as I do a check & correct on someone's file, with a Pentel Tradio with black ink... (Hey, they write well, and I'm not afraid of having one walk off...)

"Here was a man who had said, with his wan smile, that once he realized that he would never be a protagonist, he decided to become, instead, an intelligent spectator, for there was no point in writing without serious motivation." - Casaubon referring to Belbo, Foucault's Pendulum.

Study notes in my journal this morning with:

lapis 1997 Parker Duofold international (fine nib) filled with Waterman Florida Blue, and

green Hero 616 jumbo (fine nib) filled with a homebrew burgundy.

Today's mail brought a Platinum music nib I received in nib swap, so I filled the black 3776 with Noodler's Saguaro Wine to give it a go.

This afternoon's journal entries were written with a cardinal red 1928 Parker Duofold Jr. (fine nib) filled with Waterman Blue Black.

I also did some jotting with a blue stripe Pelikan 800 ballpoint which has a Visconti 0.7 ballpoint refill.

Danitrio Raw Ebonite Mikado with Diamine Prussian Blue and Sheaffer Levenger Red "Seas" with Waterman's Blue/Black.

Although I love the Waterman's I think the Red Seas deserves a red ink next time.

I tried cleaning, then filling, my new eyedropper flex-nib pen without a cap, but it blobbed up the first word I wrote with it.

*sighs*

My latest ebook.   And not just for Halloween!

My other pen is a Montblanc.

today (and nearly every day) I use my Waterman Phileaus (Waterman Florida Blue ink), Parker Sonnet (Scheaffer Skrip Ink - Blue (and I don't like this ink nearly as much as the Waterman's)) and a handmade job with a fine IPG nib (Waterman Purple Ink)

Lots of wants, limited funds!

I'm studing for my exams today. Of course each of my pens feels sad, when it's in the drawer, so I use 6 of them and write one page using each. And then again :-D Pens (in the order of rotation ;-) )

1. Sheaffer Imperial + Noodler's La reine Mauve

2. Sheaffer Balance + Noodler's Baystate Blue

3. Sheaffer Prelude + J. Herbin Blue (scented)

4. Waterman Carene + Caran d'Ache Carbon

5. Conway Stewart Dinkie 550 + Caran d'Ache Saffron

6. My grandfather's Hero (P61) + Caran d'Ache Sunset - well, you had your p51's during 1970's and we had communism (I'm from Poland) and Hero's - and these were quite rare ;-) But the nib is just awesome.

As you can see, my notes are quite colourful ;-)

Cheers,

Adam

Today my trusty Conway Stewart Doctor's Pen filled with Diamine Presidential Blue is joining me for work at dispatchcenter, clipped in the neck of my shirt

In my diary it's a Parker Duofold Orange filled with Noodlers Zhivago.

And in my pencase in my work bag there are:

My Parker Duofold Cloissonne filled with Noodlers Heart of Darkness

A Preppy highlighter filled with it's yellow cartridge that came with it, when it's empty I'll put some Noodlers Year of the Golden Pig in it...

My Visconti van Gogh midi filled with Visconti Turquoise.

I only own two fountain pens, so they're always the pens I'm using today:

Yafa Cartridge Fountain Pen, M steel nib (currently with Foray black ink cartridge)

Dollar 717i ink window piston filler, F steel nib (currently with Private Reserve Ebony Blue)

Does not always write loving messages.

Does not always foot up columns correctly.

Does not always sign big checks.
