At this very moment, I have three in my pocket:

A midsized 30s Waterman in a beautiful brown pearl celluloid, the model name/number I've never been able to find out... Filled with Noodler's Antietam

A 40s Dusty Red Parker Vacumatic (button-filler) - This one is actually a "family" pen; I think it was my grandmother's. This one is filled with Noodler's Ottoman Azure.

A 30s brown/pearl Mabie-Todd Swan Visofil. This one has Noodler's Borealis Black.

"Here was a man who had said, with his wan smile, that once he realized that he would never be a protagonist, he decided to become, instead, an intelligent spectator, for there was no point in writing without serious motivation." - Casaubon referring to Belbo, Foucault's Pendulum.

Today's pen is a Sterling Silver Cesile 1970s vintage Parker 75 with a broad nib loaded up with Noodlers Midnight Blue.

Just got my Lamy Safari charcoal with black trim and fine point in the mail last evening.

Filled it with the blue Lamy cartridge that was enclosed, just in a hurry to use it.

Within 15 seconds of tightening the cartridge ink was at the nib, ready to write.

It is much smoother and wetter than my other Lamy fine point, it really is wonderful, particularly for a steel point pen.

Used it all day today, great writer.

Inked up my recently arrived Esterbrook J with Relief Medium Stub. Ink is FPN Tulipe Noire. Wow! What a silky smooth nib!

An Eversharp Skyline, until it runs out of ink, Parker Blue.

Fernan

The Skyline still has blue ink, so I'm still using it, along with an Esterbrook L J, with a medium stub nib, inked with vintage Sheaffer Red, and my new Sailor Sappporo, with Parker black ink, just to feel the zoom nib.

I switched a PR Supershow Green cart from a Pel calligraphy pen into a Rotring Skynn, and whatever it's chasing has produced a nice soft grayish-green. I like!

My latest ebook.   And not just for Halloween!

My other pen is a Montblanc.

Still the Yafa Cartridge Fountain Pen from Office Depot, but just ordered a new pen...

Does not always write loving messages.

Does not always foot up columns correctly.

Does not always sign big checks.

I'm knocking around today in jeans and hitting the hardware stores for parts for several projects I have going. So the Blue Lamy Safari with Lamy blue ink are the ticket for me today.
