Two main users today:

- Parker 51 Demi, black, with an odd narrow but deep nib that writes a toothy medium, full of Herbin Perle Noire

- Pilot 78G, black, full of FPN Van Gogh Starry Night Blue

Also had a blue Kwaeco Sport full of Swisher North Sea Blue in my pocket, but didn't use it other than some doodling.

Reform 1745, with the Hero blue ink I use when testing out new pens. This is one of two I got here on FPN ; one was very nice, but this one is a little scratchy, & even under a loupe I can't see why. Maybe I'll take it to the Dallas Pen Club breakfast next week & see if anyone is willing to mess with it.

Today's pen (and maybe tomorrow's too) is a Lamy 2000 with a medium nib loaded up with some Fort Madison made Sheaffer Skrip blue-black.

Used my Lamy Al-Star EF inked with Barock gruen (green ink) in my journal. Borrowed my daughters Lamy abc inked with Barock schwarz (black ink) for comparison.

Over the weekend I used my new Pelikan M805 exclusively. Today I am using the teal Bexley Simplicity with 0.9mm Binder cursive italic nib and Noodlers Blue-black ink; also the Montblanc 146P with broad nib and Montblanc Violet ink.

Guilloche Graf because last night I broke the nib on my Montegrappa.

Oh, that cannot be good! (unless its an excuse for something custom...)

  • a French-made Edacoto from the mid-30s, fine flex nib, beautiful in itself, and a great writer. It seems it may become one of my favourite writers. Somewhat Moleskine friendly. Currently inked with Parker Quink Black. Don't know for the future, maybe Herbin Cacao du Brésil.
  • the Black Esterbrook J I received yesterday. A great writer.
  • Esterbrook Dollar Pen.

Today I just carry a Lamy Safari Black in my chest pocket instead of my other more elegant FP.

It is equipped with a fine steel nib and load with Parker Quink Washable Blue.

I also carry a Sheaffer 500 series Blue Lacquered BP as a backup.

* Pilot VP M nib / J. Herbin Vert Empire

* Parker 100 M nib / Waterman South Sea Blue

The Parker 100 really growing on me...

English is not my mother tongue, please excuse me.
